Disney World has been furiously slammed online after it announced a shocking 150 percent price increase for a popular service.
Almost everyone who goes to the beloved theme park ends up buying something, whether it's a stuffed animal for your child, one of the iconic popcorn buckets, some new ears or a cute sweatshirt.
Between the dazzling clothes and gleaming toys, it's easy to spend hundreds of dollars on merchandise alone.
And now, those purchases have just become much more expensive for some.
Instead of lugging all your new Disney stuff through the airport or trying to fit them in your already-full luggage, guests have the option of sending products bought in the parks home for a fee.
The cost depends on the value of the items, and for years, that fee was capped at $40.
However, the service just got much more expensive, and fans are not happy about it.
It was revealed this week that Disney has increased shipping rates, and the maximum has now jumped from $40 to a whopping $99.99 - a 150 percent increase.

A friend spent $6000 in 5 days there 4 years ago, him and his girlfriend.
Yes. Universal Studios is FILLED with it. Disney is more clasy. Buy only truly worth it if you buy a Vacation Clib share, like my family did.
My wife son and I went there 21 years ago. It was expensive then.
The only deal we got was the employee price at the Dolphin hotel behind Epcot. The brother of a guy I worked with was a manager of the hotel. This was when they were owned by Sheraton. We also got the employee pricing on the meals(1/2 price).
The park tickets were about $750 back then for the three days prior to Thanksgiving.
Once was enough for me.
Frankly, I thought MGM & the Animal Kingdom were decent, but the Magic Kingdom and Epcot seemed really dated back then.
Space Mountain might have been cutting edge in 1970.
The Rock & Roller coaster at MGM was the best one.
that’s so weird to me, to go without kids.
Gouge until they stop bleeding Disney motto?.
It’s a trend for just about everything now.
Live close to Orlando. Last two times (more than 10 years ago) I went because someone gave me a free ticket. It was the only reason I went. I loathe going to WDW and all the other Disney places (along with Orlando). And they charge you to park also. Way, way overpriced. They are not worth it. Heard something about a fool and his money......
First time I went was after the theme park officials distributed free admission tickets to all U.S. military personnel who participated in Operation Desert Storm.
Anybody remember this?
It included two day park tickets and one night at the Disney Swan hotel.
Kids loved it.
I’m still trying to figure out why some adults are so obsessed with Disney. 🤷♀️
Weird to me as well. They’re liberals so they act like children.
Last time I went was 88 I think. I had fun. I mostly spent the whole time eating at the blue bayou restaurant and riding the pirates ride and space mountain over and over. Would I go now? No. I don’t have any desire to spend my money or time for a bunch of child grooming perverts and homosexuals.
We live about 30 miles north of WDW. It’s a joke now. The attractions are just disgusting and soulless. Universal, at one time, was fun, especially when Halloween Horror Nights was cheap and silly — but that was about 25 years ago.
Then the... um... you know whos started showing up and ruining things by hitting the scare actors and robbing people in the park.
Now, it’s over priced, the scariest things you see are the 5 hour long lines. You spent $300 to maybe see three houses and stand in line with rude jerks. It’s a joke.
I used to work for a company based in Orlando and had to make frequent trips there for meetings and training. The cheapo Disney resorts were priced the same as the standard corporate hotels I would normally stay at, so a few times we made a family trip out of it. With the hotel and my meals paid for it was almost worth it, especially when I was able to borrow season passes from colleagues in the area. Wife and kids could go to the parks while I worked, then I would join them later. We never bought much junk, though, so never tempted to ship junk home.
It’s strange what some folks will shell out for thinking they’ve had a fun time.
You nailed it. I never really liked contrived “fun” like that.
Some good friends just got back from a Disney cruise on the Gulf of America. Their grandkids loved it, but it sounded horrible to me. At least their grandkids also enjoyed a shore excursion at a resort in Mexico and touring ancient Aztec ruins.
Space Mountain
Easily the best ride I have ever been on. We bought skip the line passes (told wife we are only going once) my son and I did that ride a few times.
My favorite was the Yeti coaster at Animal Kingdom.
The Rock & Roller coaster at MGM would be second favorite.
