“Neuroscientists who stand up and say ‘we have souls’ are few and far between,” says pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Michael Egnor.
“But when you look carefully at the neuroscience—the best neuroscience over the past century—it clearly points to the existence of the soul and to the existence of aspects of our mind that don't come from the brain.”
Egnor himself started off as a materialist and atheist. But 40 years and more than 7,000 brain surgeries later, he concluded that reason and free will do not reside in the brain. In this episode, he reveals what he’s found.
“Neuroscience is just fundamentally wrong in a lot of ways … because of the materialist bias in neuroscience. We can't get away from this machine analogy, [but] we're not machines, and we don't work like machines work. And there's overwhelming evidence in neuroscience for the existence of a soul,” he says.

I worry far less about AI itself than I do about some people developing it and some who will use it.
The many scientists who signed on to the ‘Six Month Pause’ letter a couple of years ago seem very responsible to me.
Unfortunately, not enough parties did anything at all to ‘pause’.

Angels, of course, also being souls, but having no bodies.

so in some moments/spots of flow, it may be not so clean, or flowing well, depending on the collection of outputs that entered it?
It doesn’t seem to me, that a superior force of a “Universal LIFEstream” would have spots like that. I would think it would be all Life promoting power. Yet people have some really interesting brain outputs, some think evil, not to mention do evil.
I don’t need him to convince me I have a soul.

The AI soloutions to your questions will be what other men want you to see.
Who will tell you the truth?
Do you really believe that people developing autonomous vehicles and weapons for the military, or AI inventory and supply chain systems, or AIs that guide surgeries and read X-rays are interested in making you ‘think things’? They want to improve the way things are done, and make a profit at doing it too.
The mainstream media, politicians, Internet and education system are already taking care of controlling thought, and doing a darn good job of it for many people.
(Are you against nuclear energy and continued efforts to develop it and make it safer? Or do you think we should just forget about it...)
But the category known as “physical material” exists. This is probably more important than the observation that everything is energy.

If there is life after death and you can remember anything from your time on earth this precludes the idea that memories are stored in our brain. Also it means Alzheimer’s is a malfunction of the antenna that accesses your stored memories from the spiritual plane they are undoubtedly stored on

Never trust the veracity of ai.
Your use of a manual handsaw is an extention of your personal thinking/soul
