The goal of the video was to highlight the polar opposite approaches the two people have to helping women in crisis pregnancies. The reel amassed nearly 400k views on Instagram. The escort being filmed did not tell Rogers not to film her nor seemed at all “intimidated” by her.

And as now happens so very often all over Europe, the rapist was a Muslim migrant who regarded non-Muslim girls and women as asking for it. A Geneva criminal court has sentenced an Algerian national to eight years in prison for the rape of an American tourist in the Swiss city’s Old Town in 2024, rejecting the defense’s call for acquittal and concluding that the assault was carried out with particular cruelty.
Presiding judge Sylvie Bertrand-Curreli said the facts left “no room for any other interpretation.” The court also ordered the man to be deported from Switzerland for 12 years after completing his sentence.
Deported for 12 years after serving his sentence? Why not deported forever? What would be the good of letting him back into Switzerland? Would this violent rapist and cocaine addict, who regards non-Muslim women as easy meat, and all non-Muslims as “the most vile of created. beings,” have by then been transformed into a welcome addition to Swiss society? Metropolitan State University of Denver’s Writing Center urged educators to abandon Standard American English (SAE), labeling it a form of “Linguistic White Supremacy” in since-deleted materials published under its “Anti-Racist Practices for Your Classroom” guidance on the university’s website.
The writing center even rejected that SAE exists at all, and “fully support[s] students in using their English (whatever that may be) in communicating their thoughts and ideas,” according to a page that has since been removed from its website.
The center’s reasons for rejecting SAE include the assumption that there is a “correct” way to write, the implication that there is a “standard” when the United States does not have a regulating body, that SAE “is a social construct that privileges white communities and maintains social and racial hierarchies,” and that SAE privileges white society over other ethnicities.
MSU Denver told National Review it is aware of the content and that it does not reflect the official policy of the university.
“The University has removed that content and is working with the Writing Center to review it to ensure alignment with the institution’s mission, values and academic best practices,” an MSU Denver spokesperson told NR. “MSU Denver remains committed to rigorous academic standards and preparing all students for success in life and careers.”
The writing center cited compliance with the Conference on College Composition and Communication, which in June 2020 released a statement “DEMAND[ing] Black Linguistic Justice.”

Zelensky said he also hopes the meeting will use all the momentum that the previous team meetings have had to set a framework for ending the war, including a timeline for when the war would end.
The European leader also noted that Trump envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are prepared to visit Ukraine to help promote the agreement, but also suggested that perhaps Trump himself should visit to make the case.
Zelensky additionally said that it was not clear if Russian President Vladimir Putin would sign off on the agreement.
“I have some intelligence,” Zelensky said. “But I’m at the moment when I want to believe only the words of leaders.”
Trump appeared optimistic that both sides would agree to the peace deal, telling the New York Post Friday that he believes the three countries have a “good shot” at securing the deal with Ukraine on Sunday.
