Through various reports and testimony by government officials, it was revealed that many of the Afghan nationals couldn’t be properly vetted.
Afghans who entered the U.S. on a Special Immigrant Visa (SIV), under a special immigrant parole (SQ/SI), and were granted humanitarian parole as part of the Biden Administration’s Operation Allies Welcome were eligible for over a dozen taxpayer benefits, many continuing four years later.
The benefits include: Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Women, Infants and Children (WIC), HUD Public Housing and Section 8 housing vouchers, emergency Medicaid, Affordable Care Act health plans and subsidies, full-scope Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), federal student aid and Pell grants, REAL ID, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act services, refugee resettlement programs through the Office of Refugee Resettlement and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), according to the National Immigration Law Center.
For those who didn’t qualify for SSI or TANF, refugees were eligible for up to 12 months of Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) through the ORR.
In addition, many refugees qualified for employment assistance through Refugee Support Services, which included: childcare, transportation, “employability services,” job training and preparation, job search assistance, placement and retention, English language training, translation and interpreter services and case management, according to the Administration for Children and Families Office of Refugee Resettlement.
The ORR also noted that “some clients may be eligible for specialized programs such as health services, technical assistance for small business start-ups and financial savings.”
Many refugees also qualified for “immigration-related legal assistance” to assist them “on their pathway to obtaining a permanent status.”

Grothman said that one thing Congress and the American people have learned in Trump’s first year back in the Oval Office is how many Defense Department employees are civilians. The congressman said there were 760,000 civilian employees.
“I believe right now, we’ve reduced that number by 18 or 19%. I was able to talk to some of the people in the Pentagon,” Grothman said on the “Just The News, No Noise” TV show. “Their goal is to reduce that figure further ... Federal agencies may expedite processing and waive fees and search costs so long as such rules are consistent with the FOIA statute. In 2023, the Biden Administration’s EPA, however, bent the rules to provide politically favored requesters with special treatment — including fee waivers and faster access to government records. Not only is such a practice unlawful, it also penalizes (through both delays and hefty fees) those requesters who don’t meet the EPA’s politicized standards.
Expedited processing can only be granted on a specific, limited, and enumerated basis. Disregarding the plain letter of the law, the EPA established a system that allows bureaucrats to prioritize politically aligned requests over those of the public.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier filed a lawsuit against three medical groups that push children mutilation procedures.
The groups are the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), the Endocrine Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Uthmeier said in his announcement:
Today, I’m announcing that we are taking legal action against several powerful medical organizations, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Endocrine Society. We believe these organizations failed to disclose the risks, limits and evidence.
When promoting so called gender affirming care for children for years, these groups insisted the recommendations were settled science, but behind closed doors, they knew the evidence was weak. They knew the outcomes uncertain and the risks very real.
Parents were not told the full story. In fact, some parents were told that if they didn’t put their kids through permanent, life altering sick procedures like double mastectomies and castration, that their child would commit suicide. Not only is that unethical and dangerous medicine, but it is against the law. children were irrevocably harmed because truth was replaced with political activism.

Bhalla said he flew it “following requests from local residents of Palestinian descent.”
Hhmmm…..did those people of Palestinian descent ask him to fly it on the 9th?
“I want to state unequivocally that this association was not known when the scheduling was approved,” Bhalla wrote on Facebook. “I understand that this coincidence has caused concern for some members of our community. This was not our intention – rather it was simply to recognize local residents who call Hoboken home.”
Bhalla equated raising the Palestinian flag to when City Hall flew the Breast Cancer Awareness flag, the Italian flag, the Puerto Rican flag, and so many more.
“Our City has routinely opened this space to residents who wish to celebrate their heritage, and today was no different,” Bhalla said.

Faculty group demands protections for non-citizens who ‘express support’ for Hamas
A national faculty coalition is pushing to grant non-citizens First Amendment protections, demanding that the Trump administration be permanently barred from revoking visas over pro-Palestinian activism or support for terrorist groups.
The initiative is led by the American Association of University Professors and several of its university chapters, including Harvard’s, in partnership with the Middle East Studies Association.
A court victory for the AAUP in September stated that the Trump administration was violating the First Amendment by revoking visas of pro-Palestinian activists, according to The Harvard Crimson.
The national coalition’s new proposal seeks to block the Trump administration from continuing what it calls unconstitutional arrests and deportations. However, it also demands that any relief must apply to all noncitizens, not just members of the petitioning organizations.
It also includes a list of pro-Palestinian statements that cannot warrant a threat to a person’s visa.
The list includes statements considered “to express support or sympathy for terrorism or a designated foreign terrorist organization such as Hamas.”
However, not everyone agrees that citizens and noncitizens should share the same rights.

President Donald Trump’s Justice Department is taking further action to keep male inmates away from women’s prisons, but potential obstacles remain.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) issued a memo on Dec. 2 reinforcing a January 2025 executive order requiring inmates to be housed according to sex, a policy that challenges Federal Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) standards published in 2012 allowing males to be housed in female prisons. It’s uncertain if states with policies allowing men in women’s prisons will comply with these news standards which are used to guide corrections agencies at the local and state level.
“For years, officials have used ‘because PREA’ as an excuse to house violent, predatory men in facilities meant for women—a practice that defies logic, safety, and basic decency,” Leigh Ann O’Neill, chief legal affairs officer at America First Policy Institute told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

ROOKE: Teacher Accidentally Seems To Make Best Case For Why Public Schools Are Failing Students
A Washington state school teacher inadvertently handed conservatives the single clearest example imaginable of why public education is failing, according to recently reported allegations.
A non-binary school teacher in Tumwater, WA, named Mx. TJ Thornton, allegedly pushed back against teaching a 10-year-old boy for the fifth grade school year because his father, school board member Casey Taylor, had voted months earlier to keep girls’ sports biologically female, according to Alesha Perkins’ Substack.
Thornton goes by they/them pronouns, but if I were a betting woman, I would assume that she is a progressive white female because this is the only way this story makes any sense. Despite Taylor’s views on protecting girls’ sports being a common-sense position supported by roughly 70–80% of Americans in every major poll, Thornton claimed there were “safety concerns” over the family’s supposed views on transgender issues and allegedly went to the school’s administration with those concerns, according to an investigator’s Sept. 24, 2025, report cited by Perkins.
While the investigator reportedly concluded the allegations against Thorton were “unsubstantiated,” Taylor filed a complaint with HR and the superintendent on Nov. 30, according to Perkins.
I remember, and saw yesterday on X and wish I could find it, the photo of Pelosi and “Beto” O’Rourke walking with a Mexican cartel leader in Mexico.
