If we’re being honest, it could just be that immigration is a lucrative issue for the bishops, while defending the unborn is not.Total Estimated Funding for Religious NGOs for Migrant/Refugee Services
- Annual Peak (FY 2023–2024): Religious NGOs received ~$1–1.5 billion for migrant/refugee services, part of ORR's $10B+ total (up from $2.2B in 2021).
- Cumulative (FY 2021–2024): Over $4 billion to faith-based groups, driven by unaccompanied minors ($5.5B in 2023) and discretionary grants ($616M in 2023).
- Border-Specific (SSP via DHS/FEMA): $640M in FY 2024; religious NGOs like Catholic Charities received millions (e.g., $70M to San Diego affiliate in 2023).
- Broader Context: From 2008–2022, Catholic entities alone got $3B+; total NGO funding for migrants hit billions amid 300,000+ monthly encounters in late 2023.

they wont let the poor into the vatican, but they demand the US let illegal aliens enter the country.

If the Church was a church, it would focus on saving souls.
But the Church isn’t much of a church. It’s just a political outfit.

Look at the effect of the Catholic vote on America and know why it was an immigration problem in the 1800s and since 1964.

Whatever the motivation is, illegal immigration and birth control are both clearly addressed in Church teaching, published in the easy-for-the-laity-to-read Catechism, priority given for any logical person to decipher

10 to 1 they said nothing about the leaders in Central America as well as the cartels who exploit and suppress the “immigrants”...

I would appear that human trafficking in the form of illegal aliens is a profit center for the USCCB.

The Bishops are members of a corrupt political organization which is masquerading as a church.
The Roman Catholic “Church” is corrupted from the top down.
No offense to God-fearing Catholics, but the Vatican is full of wickedness.
Cling to Christ, not to the institutions of men.
PS - the Protestants are no better. It’s a very sad thing.

Much more money in facilitating illegal immigration through NGO vs Pro life advocacy. RCINC always follows the money. It is after all the oldest most profitable multinational corporation on the planet.
Notice how they always cry poverty but always manage to find the funds to hire 600$/hr defense attorneys to smearruin the reputation of the victims of sexual abuse by their employees (aka priests) in deposition, friendly media and subsequent trial

Catholic “Charities” is a massively government taxpayer funded NGO ie. boondoggle. It is widely reported reported that they were up to their elbows in recruiting illegals, helping organize the caravans and helping illegals disappear once across the border. And where does all this money end up? Not in the pockets of the illegal aliens for sure, but in the salaries and budgets of the Catholic Church (and for the record I’m a Catholic). The USCCB is A. A bunch of hogs squealing because their money is not flowing from the taxpayers into their trough, and B. A group of hard core socialists whose agenda is, with the possible exception of abortion, the same as or to the left of the Democrat party.

Because Biden was not forcing women to have abortions. It is a stupid equivalence. They know abortion was the law.
