Erratic Dodgers fans took over the streets of Los Angeles to celebrate the team’s second straight World Series title early Sunday morning while police officers were struck by “industrial-sized fireworks and bottles.”
Thousands of Angelenos converged around the city after the Dodgers clinched their thrilling extra innings 5-4 win in Game 7 over the Toronto Blue Jays.
Police, however, were forced to deploy tear gas and less-than-lethal weapons once the rowdy revelers escalated their celebrations, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
A “Dispersal Order” was declared in Downtown LA around 12:30 a.m. when police said their officers were being hit with the fireworks and bottles.
The large pyrotechnics were also launched at a large crowd of people and officers conducting crowd control near Sunset Blvd and Echo Park, blocks away from Dodger Stadium.
The overrun cops were given the go-ahead to use less-than-lethal munitions to disperse the crowds that failed to listen to the verbal orders.
A large crowd in the downtown area allegedly vandalized an autonomous vehicle, police said.
Several cars took over an intersection in the Pacoima neighborhood and did donuts and burnouts, creating smoke for the thrill of the crowd that had gathered, according to footage from KTLA.
Roughly 350 to 400 people were at the intersection, the outlet reported, citing police.

Fun game too!
"Grok just informed me that, as of 11/02/2025, the World Series is tied 1-1 after the Yankees beat the Dodgers 4-2 on 10/30/2025.
When I insisted that the Dodgers just won their second Series in a row by beating the Toronto Blue Jays in a 7 game series, Grok told me I was wrong.
When I finally pointed Grok to mlb.com, it admitted that I was right and that there must have been a brain glitch.
I guess I won’t be depending on AI for anything important in the near future at least."
It may be Artificial....but is not Intelligent.
So this happens to law enforcement when people are happy…. But the protests over ICE were nonviolent and peaceful
Another reason why MLB, like the NFL and NHL is dead to me.
I grew up in Wisconsin, a Milwaukee Braves fan. The Bartholomew Brothers bought the franchise, promising to keep it in Milwaukee…and then moved it to Atlanta. Betrayal to a young fan goes deep. Never could get into the Brewers…MLB was dead.
Then the NFL soured me on them, even though I had been a rabid Packer-Backer from the 50s. The NFL sold out to the left, the Black Racists and the Queer/Trans Movement.
Finally, it appears that the NHL has also sold out.
More time for woodworking.
…and for skill building
Were their tranny nuns on a rampage too?
Are they burning things in Tokyo?
Man, LA is so whacko they can’t even enjoy a win without rioting and destroying property. I wouldn’t last 10 minutes in CA: I’m old, conservative, overweight, and don’t like avocados.
Could apply to recent arrivals or 4th generation LBJ progeny. As I recall, Detroit used to burn every spring when the Pistons won the NBA title.
Former Pirate and Steeler fan here who agrees with you. Pro football and baseball are killing the goose that laid the golden egg. Their greed knows no limits.
Los Angeles streets are always in chaos. People there walk around with their heads up their kiesters from eating too much guac and chips and salsa.

No place like California to prove it’s moron motives.
It’s the state with the least graduated people in the country.
Bonud round they drive cars too.
Yes. They. Did.
3rd World overdose.
I won't live long enough understand this type of "celebration". Actually, I think it's just an excuse to riot.
the owners of the Dodgers have an unlimited check book .. ask them to chip in
Would have been the same if they had lost.
