A truck driver was filmed attempting a u-turn on a dead end suburban street in this video of mild destruction.
In the video, a truck driver makes his way down a dead-end suburban street until he reaches the end. The end of the street is not even a cul-de-sac, but the driver attempts a u-turn anyway, wreaking some serious havoc.
As the driver tries to turn around, he tears down a metal fence while driving up onto another homeowner’s yard. e of what appears to be the truck driver is shown at the end – just a man with a pained look on his face.

Driving a truck with a large trailer in reverse gets done all the time - if you have the skill to do it.
You guys should mention that a video is a music video.
Once encountered a one-way dead-end street, with the “way” pointing into the dead end.
It was next to a library.

This made me think about an incident years ago when I was riding with some friends one Friday night in center city Killadelphia. We drove down a narrow one-way street the right way.
Turns out, there was road construction in the area that had certain streets blocked and it was literally impossible to get out of that spot without violating the law. As we entered, some drunk guys on a porch yelled at us, as if they knew what was going to happen.
They were right, we realized the only solution was to go the wrong way on the one-way street, and the same guys were laughing at us as we went by in the opposite direction. We waved at them.
Let’s see... alcohol, drugs or illegal? I’m going with drugs and illegal.
A cul-de-sac has a bulb ath the end to facilitate turning around.
A dead end just...ends.

Sometimes I make a left turn off a major street on to a side street and then make a uturn on the side street with my car. I thought that was what he was trying to do, rather than not reading the sign and not knowing how to back out.

I really think the sonofabitch could’a done it if he’d been more of a creative puzzle-solver than a lunkhead.
Didn’t bias hard enough to the left approaching the dead end.
Didn’t swing to the RIGHT nearly hard enough at the end.
From which point there’d have been maybe another 15ft BEHIND his trailer available to back into.
From which point jockeying the nose of his cab around from left to right would’ve been FAR more easily accomplished given the two driveways he’d have had in front of him.
Yeah, STUPID to not just BACK out, but absolutely it wasn’t necessary to make such a mess of turning around.
