From which point there’d have been maybe another 15ft BEHIND his trailer available to back into.
From which point jockeying the nose of his cab around from left to right would’ve been FAR more easily accomplished given the two driveways he’d have had in front of him.
Yeah, STUPID to not just BACK out, but absolutely it wasn’t necessary to make such a mess of turning around.
You got it made when you get the cab back to the right of center. Another 5-10 ft down the road looks wide enough not to tear anything down.
