I have just returned from your neck of the woods. I hope you take advantage of the beautiful beaches where you live on a regular basis. I mean that! Okaloosa is a special special place to me and my family.

We have a small fish pond in our back yard that is filled with Comets.
On day a heron was standing in it and eating them all................

We live very rural and don’t have a problem with them. If I was in a city I’d build one hooked to 220V and glue it to the porch.

Harry is a very polite bait thief. He hovers nearby all day long, but doesn’t approach the fish baskets, at least we we were. I have seen him snag fish on his own in the gulf. He’s a decent fisherman in his own right.
I can’t get over how pretty the water was this time. I think it was the prettiest I’ve ever seen it. It’s going to take me a few days to adjust to being back home.
