This is how the debt has gone through the roof since 2008. Every continuing resolution is a crisis Democrats don’t let go to waste.
I’m disappointed in Trump in this regard. He should have made it a high priority to return to the constitutionally-required budgeting process. No more continuing resolutions. Yes, this political theatre is hurting the Democrats... but it’s hurting our country as well. Debt has risen by $2 trillion in a matter of months.
He is right, though. Dem families are happy to suffer if it means the end of Trump’s power. It is a small sacrifice.
Yeah, right. You want to add $1.5 trillion to the budget for LBGTQ+ and gender studies programs in Laos. How 'bout this: Pull the pork and money to foreign countries and spend it on problems in the US instead. You're holding the American taxpayer hostage for programs that benefit no US citizen.
