As reprehensible as this is, I actually don’t believe it should be something you can be arrested for. No one was hurt, stuff was only disorganized.
Could mess up his whole career.
Looks like he has an anger management problem...
Pfffft. Damn near fell on his arse trying to tear off a tablecloth. Lose the man-bun, Derek.
27 huh?
Ok.
He is from the small town, El Paso, IL, the hometown of El Paso, IL, hometown of Gubamyster.
Lopez apparently confused Illinois State University with the temple of God.
And, he confused himself with Jesus.
He’s not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree.
I did not know that Turning Point were money changers!
Blasphemer!!

Nothing screams “LOSER!” louder that a 27 year-old “student” with a man bun.
Another girly man.
Grad student Derek Lopez used Jesus’ actions as a justification for his table turn—totally ignorant of why Jesus did it.
The merchants and money changers provided a service for pilgrims who came to Jerusalem for the Passover and other festivals. Travelers who came from a distance could not bring their own sacrificial animals, so sellers provided them. Money changers converted foreign currency into the required temple currency for paying the temple tax (meant for the Roman goverment) and making offerings, as Roman coins were considered unsuitable for sacred use. However, this system became a source of corruption:
Many money changers and merchants cheated pilgrims with exorbitant fees and inflated prices for animals, taking advantage of people who traveled long distances to worship.
The business was conducted in the Court of the Gentiles, the only area of the temple where non-Jews could worship God. The noise, crowds, and commerce turned this space, intended as a “house of prayer for all nations,” into a chaotic marketplace, effectively blocking Gentiles from their place of worship.
Lopez justified his table turn because Turning Point USA upset his narrow minded political view. I bet his parents gave him everything he wanted after his temper tantrums and throwing his dinner bowl. I bet his parents were paying for his graduate degree.
The Turning Point signs always have an issue’s side stated with the challenge “Prove Me Wrong.”
Childish tantrums don’t do that but DO illustrate the need for Turning Point and similar efforts. Man-Bun Boy’s actions only reinforced their argument.
