I don't do anything hinky or illegal on my PC. But is CCleaner good for cleaning up cache? At the moment, I use the "delete history" feature on my browser and the "delete history" feature on "Internet Options."
Does CCleaner do anything else?

Just don’t give your wife your password.
I have the payware version. It has a lot more features than freeware. When you want to clean your computer of all the accumulated junk files, use the “Custom Clean” option. It’s very effective.
CCleaner also has a web browser which I use instead of Chrome.
I use the pay version. It does so much more and is very easy to manage. I have referred several family members, including my 90 year old Dad. All use the product and continue their subscriptions.
Me too.
You get all that from CCleaner or is that all different sites?

Linux alternative is BleachBit. Hillary recommends.
So which agency are you with, again? </Just Kidding!>
I also found that their customer service is very prompt in responding to questions.

that’s an important distinction
Get rid of CCleaner and install Glary Utilities.

Good to know. Thank you.

From the CCleaner advertisement.
“””””Get rid of CCleaner and install Glary Utilities.”””””
I agree, Glary is safer and easier to use.
I use both. Each finds a few things that the other one doesn't.
“used it for years along with malwarebytes”
Same here and clean every night before I shut it down. For the small fee, it’s so worth it. Fresh startup when it’s back on!
Didn’t it have some security or other problems a while ago ?
Me too. It’s also amazing how much crap the Registry cleaner finds. Other than an occasional upgrade push, no ads.
I use Norton 360, MalwareBytes and CCleaner. Never had any problems from any malicious sources.
