The ACA was written by insurance industry lobbyists. Anyone who thought it would make health coverage less expensive is a moron.

$888 annual premium equals a paltry $74/month. $1904 annual premium is $158.67/month.
I was one of the unfortunate suckers subsidizing everyone else for their inexpensive health insurance. My monthly premiums were over $1200/monthly, with a $6700 deductible. In 10 years, that complete ripoff paid for one flu shot. Nothing else. Deep six this disaster.
Exactly correct, as a businessman my insurance went from affordable to unaffordable. Right smack in the middle of Obama, something happened. I worked up until September, then people quit calling. It was like business hit a brick wall. I had to take a job for the State, and from there the pay graph started downward. I had insurance from my employers, but working construction in WA State only pays when it is nice out. Then it is hit and miss.
If I remember correctly, my insurance cost me just less than $100 a month and I could go into any doctors or clinic, and have an appointment. Afterwards, they wouldn’t even take my money, said it was a fraud.

I was aghast when Trump made the accusation and knew that McCain would not, like Rubio and Cruz, put aside the awful comments.
Still, not a single Republican voted for Obamacare.
Obamacare is the rat’s baby. They should be mercilessly hammered for ‘effing over the American people.
Oh, and Congress, initially at least, exempted themselves from Obamacare.
Obama had the authority to exempt almost any rat group, like labor unions, from Obamacare.

The GOPe will never fix KenyanKare. Never. It’s not even up for discussion. The uniparty will blow it off just like they did the first two years of the first term of President Trump.
They never intended for Obamacare to work. They expected it to fail and allow them to blame the insurance company. That debacle would have paved the way for single-payer.
Then... they botched the rollout. They made it clear to everyone that the problem wasn’t the insurance companies, it was them. They had to scramble and spend $½ billion just to get the website working.
We’ve been stuck with this obamanation ever since.

Insurance was always good until that crap was passed. Then the deductible was $4,000. Very expensive per employee.
Now being retired my yearly deductible is $7,800. Very affordable right?
