My regular Quack quit bothering me about blood pressure. I’m in better shape than he is. The dumbass sphigmomonemeters don’t account for muscle tension and in my case at least it takes a lot of squeezing for the cuff to even feel a blood vessel. The first attempt will be in that high range. But I have a machine that will do three in a row. By the third squeeze the machine is reading 130’s over 60 somethings.

In recent decades my regular checkups have included all the typical scans and there’s nothing in there that is not normal. So if you’re otherwise in good or better shape don’t worry about a halfassed BP measurement.

Since covid and water source a few years before 2020
I started drinking water from an Artesian well, has
lots of minerals heavy in calcium and more recently
went from using zycam (zinc, vitamin C & D) for 1st
signs of cold, flu, sinus. Then just buying these
supplements, next last 2 years white mushrooms that
have zinc, vitamin D + many vital minerals too.

Only 1 sinus infection in last 5 years, no colds/flu.
Basically I let my guard down (around infected on a
vacation and not getting my usual water nor at least
a few mushrooms/day.

I’m kind of my own doctor bc they priced me out due
to high prices & questionable results (similar to cable
for sports and entertainment).

The more research that is shown the more I feel no need
for doctors & modern medicine outside of a true emergency
situation esp. for major trauma. I’ve also tried and found
much help with honey, extra virgin olive oil, bee pollen,
CBD oil and various OTC supplements.

So far no Rx for me at 63 and hope to keep it that way.

Wondering what health options all y’all have found true too.

As I was told, they took her numbers and the bells started ringing. The numbers were in the stroke/death range - 214/105

They ambulanced her to the emergency room.
The EMTs told my wife that my son saved her life.
I got called at home. I beat the ambulance there to the emerg room.

They immediately gave her an IV with something in it to bring her numbers down slowly.
Long time in an emergency room room.
Scared the living bee-jeebers out of everybody. She’s been on lisinopril ever since.

salesmen. I have a home BP cuff too, battery operated
that has proven fairly accurate with fresh batteries yet
my high BP comes and goes with no discernable patterns.
Although a good 2-3 hrs of high intensity exercise often
provides lower acceptable results.

I will also note my daughter is a nurse and has been
able to cause her BP to rollercoaster up/down when
under continuous monitoring like you’d find in a hospital
or nursing home.

Yep modern (over-priced, poor results) medicine to the
‘rescue’ for a damned headache imo!

I had a lot of heart incidents including wacky way high and then way low BP, heart pain, arrthymia etc. Doc said call 911 if happened againt. Didn’t call. Instead took herbs for heart and all got normalized in a short time. Heart is doing fine with normal BP ever since. Herbs described on the Natural Health thread.

Lol! If a nurse with decades of training and practice was ridiculed, you can imagine how my warnings were received. I have no medical training but volunteered at a house for men terminal with AIDS in the late 1980’s and heard about and saw the damage Fauci did with his experimental AIDS drugs. I never trusted him from that moment on. When I saw him standing next to our beloved President Trump when covid hit, I almost gagged. I instinctively knew that anything he was involved in was going to be bad for the public. He reinforced my reaction when he behaved hypocritically and contradicted himself over masks, no masks, social distancing won’t matter, make sure you stay 6 feet apart, and on and on. I saw he hadn’t changed at all from the self-serving little megalomaniac of the 1980’s. His lies were compounded so, by the time the jabs were announced, there was zero chance I was ever getting near one and I tried to dissuade others from taking them too. You and I were failures in that regard and I’m delighted to be in such good company 😊
