Good for them to have lasted so long! And here I’ve been saying “cheetahs never prosper.” I stand corrected.

4,000 year old cheetahs - interesting. But 4,000 year old Cheetos would have been even more interesting.

Bought a place to live, years ago, and found a "naturally mummified" fox in one of the out buildings. Who knows, might have been 4,000 years old - but I didn't even think of calling any "top men", or preserving the thing 'for science'...

“Perfectly Mummified Cheetahs Are The First Naturally Mummified Big Cats Ever Found...The oldest date back over 4,000 years.” Why don’t cheetahs play cards? Because they’re cheetahs.

Wonder what could have happened 4000 or so years ago? 🤔
I know! A worldwide flood that rapidly entombed most animals.

The house it was associated with was about 30 years old at the time - but who knows, maybe a previous owner found a 4,000 year old fox 'mummy' somewhere, took it home, and put it in the shed for safe keeping!

Makes me think of that old song, “Look out for the cheetah...”

Like Cro-Magnon kids bringing home Neanderthal artifacts that they found. ...
