I'm not feeling so well the past week. And it's about Charlie Kirk. Honestly I never followed Charlie very much before his assassination. I rewpected him and knew he was partially responsible for electing Trump. I watched his presentations this past week and I find myself agreeing virtually with everything he said. I find boldness in areas that I was too intimidated to say in public. I fnd myself unworthy of even tying his shoes. He lived a Christlike life like his Savior. Now I just feel an emptiness in my soul as we mourn this humble principled servant. I know many new chapters have been created by his death and his wife is one of the most heroic figures i have ever encountered. I just feel that a part of me is hurting and the bullet that took his life took a little bit of my life. Incidentally my godly brother in Montana went to be with his Lord at about the same time as Charlie. Perhaps the met on the way up to heaven.

Thank you for trusting us with your thoughts. A shared load can be a lighter load.
Sorry to hear about your brother. You have my condolences. As to your feelings, I also feel terrible. I have no doubt Charlie is in heaven with our lord and savior Jesus Christ, but I feel terrible for his family, and the fact that ANYONE in this great nation of ours is celebrating his death. And while Charlie’s Christian as well as Political beliefs are behind the hatred of the left, I suspect the main hatred stems from something you mentioned, which is that Charlie played a large role in getting President Trump elected for a 2nd time.
I didn’t follow Charlie Kirk much, either. Nevertheless, his assassination surprised and shocked me.
And just as surprising to me was all the leftist glee that followed his murder. I knew those folks were depraved. But not that much depraved.
If there is even a small sliver of good that can come out of this, it’s that these leftist monsters have now exposed themselves. Hopefully, the voters will take notice.
Wife knew I watched Charlie often but she never watched any of his debate videos. After this week she cannot believe how great he was at not only debate but his biblical knowledge also.
Doesn’t help the squad and other Demons on the hill are calling him a racist.
I saw little bits and pieces of Charlie Kirk, and respected and admired him. Like Andrew Brietbart, his inspiration is just as important as his presence.
God allows men to perform acts of evil that good may come of it. I think we are witnessing that.
He was without doubt, the most influential person in politics under age 40. So your grief is certainly not misplaced.
I was OK til I watched Megyn Kelly and Glenn Beck trying to keep it together as the facts unfolded in real time. Probably the hardest thing I’ve watched on the internet.
Same here
“Incidentally my godly brother in Montana went to be with his Lord at about the same time as Charlie.”
That’s a heck of an emotional whack right there. Go easy on yourself, there’s nothing wrong with you. Given the example of the two above, you got this. What would they do?
I feel it, too. My Christian witness falls way short of Charlie’s. But be encouraged, Charlie was a five talent man who was anointed by the Lord and if our witness grows just a bit because of his death, than Christ will be glorified in ways we can’t imagine, because Charlie’s touched many!
You are not alone. My reaction has been the same, although I’m feeling a little bit less depressed now than I was earlier in the week. I feel like I lost a good friend and I only knew him through videos. I occasionally listened to his podcasts, but I have so many people I like to listen to that I pick and choose based on the subject content each day.
I keep telling myself that God raised Charlie up and He can raise up someone else to pick up where Charlie left off.
As matter of fact, I’ve been so upset that I can’t watch anything or read anything anyone’s posting about him because it makes me so sad. A lot of people take comfort in hearing stories about people who have passed on or by seeing videos or photos. It just makes me feel worse.
I’m very sorry about your loss. It is kind of cool to think of people we know who have died in the Lord getting to be with Charlie and other loved ones.
My brother was 90 years old and a pastor in rural Montana. He got to live a rich and full like, something Charlie did not get to enjoy. But they both loved the Lord. Charlie, like 11 out of the 12 Apostles was killed for his faith.
Everywhere I go, whether it is Facebook or a good, biblical pastor on YouTube, ir other conservatives on YT, the “he was a racist bigot” is the argument. They will not listen to reason.”If he was such a bigot, why did he have so many black friends?” Even if Candace Owens has gone a little nutty, she was still his friend, and she is black.
Does anyone have and answer for THEIR prejudices against Charlie?
You’re not alone. When I saw the video of Kirk being shot, something inside broke. Brought on the same sick feeling as when I saw the towers fall. Haven’t been the same since.
Yes I as well. Shocked when it happened but I was surprised at how calm I was after. A mixture of sadness and righteous anger but all the while knowing God was in control. The vitriol from the left is now getting boring at this point. They are slowly burying their beloved political machine with all this. If they had any self awareness they’d stop. The line about not stopping your enemy when it is making a mistake is what I’m thinking when I see and hear about them now.
I’m feeling it too. I watched Charlie Kirk only occasionally, hub watched him very often.

The Power of God Compels You!
He was about as fine a young man as you could have dreamed up in a country so busy disgracing itself, Jesus-like in quality, if not in exact manner. Jesus, after all, was not a family man. But then there was nothing supernatural about Charlie Kirk. He was vividly of this time and place on earth. Now, in death, you can imagine him up on a mural in the post office. They’ve gone and turned him into legend, like Davy Crockett, Joseph Smith, Abe Lincoln. Yeah, it goes that deep.
That’s the great thing about Charlie and something anyone who followed him knows; Charlie wouldn’t bat an eye at the names he’s being called. He would have taken that and then some if it caused people to listen to his message. I certainly don’t have God’s knowledge and don’t pretend to but I’d like to think that God is very pleased with Charlie.
So very sorry for the loss of your dear brother. What a blessing that you KNOW that he as well as Charlie are now in the presence of their loving Savior, Jesus!
