HOW DID HE GET ON THE ROOF?
HOW DID HE GET ON THE ROOF?
We see him jump down, quite a ways I might add. BUT.... HOW DID HE GET ON THE ROOF?
and
WHY DIDN'T HE GO THAT WAY DOWN?
No one is asking the question right in front of them.
No actual knowledge.. But....
1. I assume that there is a roof access in that Building.
2. jumping to lower tiers of roofing is going to be much faster than taking the same stairs and going out of the building.

Faster to jump. If he’d taken the stairs going down, he would have had a higher probability of encountering someone.
Wild guess... The stairs?
It has been reported that someone spotted someone on the roof the previous 2 days before, but you are correct, there has never been any mention, at least that I’ve seen, as to how he got on the roof of that building.
Going down the stairs guarantees he is in one piece
Jumping is iffy. And it is extremely lucky he didn’t blow out his knee or ankle on the landing.
The parts and pieces don’t add up to me.
Sorry.
FOX commentator addressed that when the video of him jumping off the roof first came out. Commentator speculated that was plan B (or A), as other people going up the way he went up.
Part of his climb up was on stairs. The rest was probably an unsecured permanent roof ladder or roof acess door.
A question would be why wasn’t the roof secure to casual entry. Might have had help there or just a very non-secure campus.
According to Alex Jones and now the prosecutor, there was a public walkway that crossed the roof. He was able to hop the guardrail and make a vary short drop down to the roof itself and then run to his position. The walkway was too high to exit that way and so he ran to the edge and dropped down.
I haven’t see the video, but it apparently exists. The prosecutor referenced it.
a group of individuals, perhaps including his mother,
got him roof access because HE wasn’t at the school,
just there to be one of the patsies it appears.

Going down stairs is slower.
Then have to go through whatever area of the floor to get to an exit door.
A 18/20 something is less likely to be worried about breaking an ankle on a 12’ jump.
I encourage everyone to listen to the District Attorney who read the charging documents. It answers many of the questions that have been posed by FReepers.

The bigger question is how did the rifle get off the roof and then into the woods. Video of the assassin walking on the roof and jumping down when fleeing shows no indication of the rifle. What happened to it? How did it get down the roof? How did it get in the woods?
You are most likely correct, think about it, what is on most roofs ?? Usually A/C equipment, there has to be a way onto the roof from inside the building, if for no other reason than maintenance of equipment installed on the roof. It would be foolish to bring in some type of chairlift machine to life someone onto the roof every time access was needed.
The bigger question is how the shooter knew how to get on the roof from inside the building. Either he had help or he surveilled the building before the event indicating a more involved plot that we currently know.
I think people are getting caught up in the odd conspiracy theories than the bigger issues like who helped him and were larger forces involved instead of a bunch trans and furry kids in a gamer chatroom.
A retired FBI agent was on Fox and he said he could have jimmied the lock leading to the roof and that’s why he had the screwdriver.
No need to ask any more questions. The case is air tight. He was a lone shooter. Just keep demanding a quick execution and move on.
He walked through an unlocked door, walked up steps and out on to a small outdoor student lounge. Then he stepped over a very low wall on to the gravel that covers the roof. He lurked a while, then ran to his position. Then he did the evil. Then I think he took the stock off with two screws. Then he ran across the rooftop and levered himself down, and ran across a lawn and past a couple of pedestrians and cars, and into a small clump of trees. A lot of it was on camera. Much was captured on video. Nobody did $hit. Was the normal campus security office watching monitors? All they had to do was message down to the stage saying “GET HIM OFF THE X.” Nobody did $hit. People often don’t do much when not motivated. Bad job, “security” out there.
I don’t think Charlie would have gotten as far in his work as he did if he were able to think productively about security. There’s so much obvious fail here that this is the conclusion I have come to. And I think some people around him must have had a terrible foreboding for a long time.
The photo of the guy in the stairs doesnt look like Robinson to me.
Plenty of rifle image in the videos. Minus the easily removable stock, a carbine-length Mauser is only about 32 inches long. Standing, measure from your knee to your shoulder, then slide a 32 or even 40 inch wppden rod under your shirt and upper pant leg. You will have limited hip motion but your knee will function.
His parents strongly disagree.
