Popular conservative creator Matt Walsh called for Attorney General Pam Bondi to be fired immediately after she said businesses must allow fans of Charlie Kirk to print posters in honor of the slain Turning Point USA founder.
Walsh said that comment, to go along with Bondi’s recent statement on targeting “hate speech” against Kirk, as well as her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, make it clear President Donald Trump needs to fire her.
“Get rid of her. Today. This is insane,” Walsh posted on X on Tuesday, in response to a clip of Bondi talking about companies not being able to “discriminate” against Kirk’s fans.
He continued: “Conservatives have fought for decades for the right to refuse service to anyone. We won that fight. Now Pam Bondi wants to roll it all back for no reason. The employee who didn’t print the flyer was already fired by his employer. This stuff is being handled successfully through free speech and free markets. This is totally gratuitous and pointless. We need the AG focused on bringing down the left wing terror cells, not prosecuting Office Depot for God’s sake.”
Walsh is referring to Office Depot recently firing an employee who refused to print posters honoring Kirk.
The Daily Wire star’s X post above came less than thirty minutes after he said Bondi has been a train wreck when it comes to key issues.
“Between this ‘hate speech nonsense and Epstein, Pam Bondi has committed two of the most egregious errors we’ve ever seen from an Attorney General,” Walsh posted. “How many seismic fuck ups will Trump permit her before he cuts her loose? Is this a ten strikes and you’re out deal or what?”
That comment follows Bondi saying criticism of Kirk after his murder last week in Utah costitutes “hate speech,” and is not protected by the First Amendment.
“There’s free speech and then there’s hate speech, and there is no place, especially now, especially after what happened to Charlie, [for it] in our society,” Bondi said in an interview with former White House official Katie Miller.
Bondi added: “We will absolutely target you, go after you if you are targeting anyone with hate speech, anything, and that’s across the aisle.”
The AG’s comments on hate speech were mocked by both right and left wingers. Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume, for example, said Bondi “should know” whatever someone deems hate speech is protected by the Constitution, no matter how vile it is.
Walsh, meanwhile, has said he is happy to see the “barbarians” who have cheered the killing of Kirk being fired. “Leftists Are Getting Fired Right and Left for Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s Death. Good,” one video posted on his YouTube account, which has 3.3 million subscribers, was titled on Tuesday.
but,
Walsh in this case is right. She stepped over the line, that’s the kinna bullcrap that can drain the energy out of a movement.
Then why don't you apply for it?
Go Pam! I dont care what Bret Hume thinks.
If we have free speech, then hate speech cannot exists. Any laws constituting hate speech and penalizeing it are unconstitutional. Pretty clear cut. Conservatives cannot be hypocrites on this issue.
How do? Yesterday, she basically said she is ending the first amendment.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, AOC Squawd member, Cory the Booker was throwing his best plantation tantrum at Cash Patel for all of the crazy old ladies in the house who consider Cory their nephew.
So what is 'incendiary' speech?
This guy's an idiot. The fight has been based on religious rights, not personal political opinions.
He said on Charlie Kirk’s show this morning that anybody can say what they want about Charlie Kirk or anyone else.
The very concept of “hate speech” is a contradiction to the 1st Amendment and should be rigorously denied by anyone who supports the Constitution - which would include anyone who has sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution.
Since when so conservatives believe the Constitution is a bad thing?
Lawyers ought to be better at speaking carefully. That's one of my issues with her.
At the start of the year, she was specifically asked if she would release the Epstein client list. That was the question. Would she release the Epstein client list.
She said "It's on my desk".
What she meant was -- I have a lot of files on my desk. Some of the files are related to Epstein. I need to look at this pile of papers. I need to see what we have. Maybe we have a Client list. Maybe we don't. I'll release what I can, when I can.
But she didn't say that.
"Will you release the Epstein Client List?"
"It's on my desk."
She does not speak carefully. Because (apparently) there is no Epstein Client List. She should not have said "It's on my desk."
A purist and a lawyer.
He’s technically correct on a lot of this, but it should be left unsaid.
For example, it’s perfectly legal to refuse to print flyers for Charlie Kirk memorials. No crime was committed.
Now, the employer was 100% right in firing the left wing nut, but that’s it, as far as immediate consequences go. (But good luck getting a job, lady.)
Which unconstitutional law? The Constitution?
If the AG actually thinks we lock up people in this country for hurty words...
She needs to be fired.
That is how I see it. DOJ enforcement of discrimination cases is complaint driven. It could be argued that those businesses or more likely employees refusing to print pro Kirk posters are doing so because those requesting the poster are doing so for religious reasons. Discrimination based on religion is prohibited by federal law. DOJ would have grounds to investigate such a complaint.
But an unprotected class can not claim they were discriminated against just because the employee or business has a different view point about Kirk. There would be no grounds for DOJ to go after them.
Pam Is doing an excellent job. Haters gonna hate. Maybe we should hire back Merrick Garland.
The question you should be asking is since when do Trump supporters lose all sense of logic and fall into hysterical tantrums without allowing for time and revelation?
What a bunch of BS .
What irrational logic are you spouting off .
The owner of Staples did not decide .
A deranged low IQ Trannie employee was preventing Staples from providing
there services based on there own radical personal beliefs .
The trannies job is to provide this service
not peddle her left wing hate .
But Walsh stated “Get rid of her. Today.”
This statement brings his IQ to around 16.
