Their insensitive and cruel comments have raised an internal debate about whether the retaliation effort is morally justified or dangerously hypocritical.
Among the loudest critics is conservative commentator Raquel Debono, who took to Instagram to question whether the right's efforts to get political opponents fired from their jobs are 'Christian' or even consistent with conservative values.

If your coworker worker/doctor/teacher would celebrate the death of Charlie, they would celebrate your death. That is not a safe environment. They need to be removed.

This story of ‘celebrating Charlie’s death’ is sad beyond belief but not unexpected.... in many ways it reminds one of the story of Stephen who was stoned to death. And who witnessed and approved of that stoning?

In the end, Saul converted to Christ and with his new name of Paul became one of the greatest and most fearless champion and spokesman for Christianity there ever was. Those doing the celebration thing need to be prayed for that their lives as Sauls will be transformed into Pauls....

But the Lefty MSN wants to tell us she is "Single, Young and Conservative" except at nearing 30 she seems NOT to be successfully married. Charlie Kirk was. Really? Even if a true conservative, the article reads like marketing for her "brand." A dating app. One reads:

The people who have been fired for their comments celebrating the murder of Charlie Kirk DO have freedom of speech rights. To my knowledge, no one has been arrested and charged with a crime related to celebrating the murder.
However, employers DO have a right to expect civil and decent behavior from their employees.
It's time to abandon political correctness and fight like our survival depended on it.

I agree with you. Individuals have the right to think and say what they like; but employers have the right to protect the reputations of their businesses.

A medical doctor celebrating murder can’t be trusted to take care of patients suspected of being - say, Christian.
And public school teachers celebrating murder can’t be trusted to take charge of and educating children.
And public officials who celebrate murder can’t be trusted to uphold the Bill of Rights and other provisions of the U.S. Constitution.
A military officer who celebrates murder . . . and so forth and so on.
Freedom of speech vs consequence-free speech.
Freedom of speech just means the government can’t come kick in your door for criticizing the government.
It doesn’t cover making actual threats against someone, nor does it absolve you from consequences involving non-governmental entities for abhorrent statements.
Seems the left can’t quite grasp that there are consequences for evil actions. They’ve never been made to be accountable for anything until now.
