Below, X.com account @ShipWreck has posted two brief video clips, approximately 4 minutes in combined length, from a student of US History posting on TikTok regarding the public's responses to the murder of Charlie Kirk. Basically, she's analyzing the public response for clues which, historically, would indicate the direction the country is moving.
It looks like the original Part 1 and Part 2 video clips were created by @thathingIdo on TikTok. TRANSCRIPT BELOW THE IMAGE.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
I've had too much education and too much training to ever see historical events the same way other people do.
I'm a PHd student of American History maintaining a 4.0. I'm not watching the event; I'm watching the public.
I'm watching the peoples' reaction to the event because that's going to determine what happens next. Here's the pattern I've observed.
The initial response to the assassination of Charlie Kirk was celebration in the streets. There were people standing on street corners holding signs. There were individuals who were coming all over Social Media cheering, clapping. They were dancing with disco party lights in the background.
It was a national celebration that someone had been assassinated. Historically speaking, national celebrations of the assassination of political rivals does not go well.
Historically speaking, it doesn't go well. And very shortly after that, within an hour, the dominating discussion became a condemnation of those celebrations, with many people feeling like something has flipped.
Some fuse has been lit. Nobody knows what's coming. Nobody knows what's happened. There's a feeling that something has turned.
As somebody who has studied history, you're right; something has been lit. Nobody knows what it's attached to yet.
Nobody knows where this is going to go, but something has been lit as it always does when you have national celebrations of political assassinations.
Over the next several days, even weeks, I will be looking for additional patterns to emerge, because there are patterns that you can follow. There are things that pop up that let you know just what exactly is coming.
And that's what I am going to be watching for. The rollback and the illogical fallacy arguments have already begun from the celebrators and the individuals who supported their celebrations.
But even with that rollback, it's not enough to stop the momentum that has started on the side of those who find the celebrations abhorrent.
You should be paying attention, because the next few days are going to be really interesting.
PART 2 (TikTok video) 1:42 https://x.com/shipwreckshow/status/1966248255618179173/video/2
What I'm watching right now is to see where we are in the arc of escalation.
Interestingly there's a pattern in history where there's a 20 to 30 year buildup of grievance before there ends up being a major revolution or an assassination. In this country we've had 20 to 30 years of grievance.
We had children raised up under the grievances of their parents, and now they have what's called an 'inherited grievance.'
Where their parents will tolerate the injustice that they see, the children will not tolerate it, and they are more likely to engage in much more physical and violent manners to be able to change the world because the grievance is their entire life. It becomes their identity.
Those who initially celebrated the assassination have not only clawed back their initial celebration, but they are also de-legitimizing the event itself.
This is because a counter-shift has occurred. A targeted group is no longer tolerating, and is making a shift to retaliate.
The group that was celebrating, the initing group, is now trying to de-escalate the situation by drawing the conversation back to where the initial political grounds used to be, but the ground has shifted; it doesn't exist anymore.
So what's happening now, in this particular arc, is we're looking at a legitimacy crisis, and I am specifically checking to see whether or not the initiating group, the ones who celebrated, are able to establish legitimacy again.
If they can survive, if they can find their footing again, this event will be sanitized to be able to preserve them long-term.
And if they can't, this will accelerate.

Level headed lady !
The hypocrisy of the left is as evident as a cat covering crap on linoleum!
Hopefully, the status quo of NGOs, teacher unions, etc., indoctrinating leftist zombies will end with accountability.
Trump mentioned using RICO against George Soros.
She makes sense except I don’t see the left trying to draw back
I see them in full hate more than ever
This guy of indeterminate pronouns (not sure which pronouns with which to address him), didn’t just assassinate a bright speaker, family man and nice guy. These folks celebrating the murder, are not just celebrating another murder. They are most likely celebrating the murder of a future conservative President of the United States!
So now, is the left celebrating the demise of the political process in America?
Hence her statement about any impending shift.
My bet is on the 🦇💩 libs going full potato.
She makes the point that if that is the end result without them retreating, they win. Charlie’s assasination will be glossed over and it will be business as usual.
Yes. They only care about adhering yo the process when it benefits them.
Recall as well the profound disappointment on the Left that Thomas Crooks did not have better aim.
“Trump mentioned using RICO against George Soros.”
What about the CCP? They’re on every college campus, they donate to the media and they bribe American politicians.
This video seems to have been completed before Charlie’s wife spoke last night...i wonder if that would factor into this analysis
The Left is worried.
Yesterday's Guardian:
Trump declines to call for unity after Charlie Kirk killing in stunning move
Some instances but for the most part you’re right.
When they focus on Tyler Robinson, it’s because they’re trying to take the focus off the others involved.
I think the problem is, “we” are too close to one side and haven’t been observant. In her opening comments she says she’s been watching the people - and that the celebrations started to reverse after even just 1 hour. So it would be easy to miss, except for the fact that the internet holds those comments forever - and that’s why we’ve seen a continuous stream of organizations distancing themselves from those remarks and firing those who made them.
One thing I’m watching: It’s been reported that David Ellison has been preparing a bid to acquire Warner Brother which includes CNN and adding it to his Paramount holdings. Will this even trigger him to take CNN in a completely new direction? Think of it as an investor who just wants a return on his money - would you be willing to bet millions on CNN as the anti-Trump and supporter of the people who celebrated Charlie Kirk’s murder?
Another indicator to watch: What will Elon Musk do?
They want to murder their political opponents, but they aren’t the Nazis?
I agree with you and her analysis is only one sided the political left
How about examining the conservative right?.....wheres the arc in that?
“Hopefully, the status quo of NGOs, teacher unions, etc., indoctrinating leftist zombies will end with accountability.
Trump mentioned using RICO against George Soros.”
I had never heard of Charlie Kirk. When he was killed, I noticed an instant sea change in the media universe. This was not “just” another school shooting, as they all had become. Ho, hum, another shooting. More politicians robotically calling for gun control. The usual suspects blaming the right. I posted that a PhD. study on political assassinations had determined that not only was the assassin’s goal usually not met, but often the opposite happened. For the first time that I recall, famous media persons were fired instantly. Not put on leave until the bruhaha died down. Fired. So many things are different this time. I think the culture has turned a corner. I think that dressing up as a member of the opposite sex is about to disappear again from public view. The next thing to happen will be a father beating up a man dressed as a woman when the man follows the father’s daughter into a Target bathroom. When that happens and the transvestite gets arrested instead of the father, then the world will have changed back to “normal.”
Agree. Those on the left who realise they need to pull back on the celebrations are not in control. The wack-a-doodle crazies are in control on the left.
