And today is 9/11. Imagine that. Better that I stay home from work than to spread my disgust that may be contagious. I wonder how many other people feel the same way.
Beloved,
When I found out that Charlie Kirk had been murdered for being that warrior for his Faith in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, I too felt ill. In shock, dismay.
I prayed for his dear wife and babies, for their family and friends, the organization and even now for all the college students that had to witness such demonically-inspired horror as to see this young man who was simply but mightily a champion for what is right and good and Godly in a perverse and wicked world slain right before their eyes.
I prayed last night again before I decided that it was ok to let my mind and body rest.
I felt ill yesterday. By what I’d heard and read. But I had to decide to pray, which IS POWERFUL AND SATAN HATES IT BECAUSE THAT’S THE FIRST THING GOD WANTS US TO DO! Prayer is an action.
And I had to decide, to stay strong in mind beyond my grief and shock for what had taken place. Because I need to be ready and available to help my sister, whose husband had two strokes just a month a go, and needs to not just hear but to know and to see that both myself and my husband will be there for her for whatever we can do to help.
Her daughter and son-in-law are helping as well and in-home rehab is starting up soon as well.
Last night I also prayed for the Salvation of those in my family that have not accepted Christ Jesus.
I know it seems I’m jumping about all over the place, and I apologize.
Today, make sure you look up at the sky. Tell God thank You for Charlie Kirk, and also that he’s now Home in Heaven with Him. If you can, don’t stay home at the house. If you’re at the market, you seem some poor older folks that need help putting their groceries in their car, help them.
It’ll help you too.
Easy to say when you’re as soulless as the left.
Very well said.
I think one of the most distressing things about this whole event is what it has revealed in so many of the hearts and minds of people walking he streets.
And yes, I do have liberal acquaintances and family. That can't be helped, but i certainly do not seek out their company or enjoy it when I have to interact with them. One has to be carefully on their guard about what she or she says around them to avoid having them unleash holy hell on you for expressing a different opinion than they hold, something I'd never do.
Then again, I don't have a heart that filled with hate either and that is another issue to deal with from someone who you've known your whole life.
It’s time to take the fight to them.
Expose their hypocrisy.
Fire them if they work for you.
Disassociate with them as “friends “
They aren’t your friends, they want you dead.
Don’t go to their businesses, don’t use their services.
It is absolutely not.
This is far more than just some stranger getting shot like just another murder in Chicago on any random weekend.
Some people actually have the milk of human kindness flowing in their veins and can feel for others, particularly his family.
Everyone grieves in their own way and nobody should ever be shamed or forced into dealing with it according to someone else's opinion and time line.
And I had the misfortune of seeing the video of the actual shooting.
An image like that is hard to shake.
Thanks for the link.
They’re going to raise way more than that.
An image like that is hard to shake.
I did as well. It was horrifying. Hubby told me not to watch it a second time.
I’m doing everything I can to avoid the footage of Charlie Kirk and the Ukrainian lady.
You cannot erase that which you’ve seen.
Wished I never saw Deer Hunter.
I never watched the Ukrainian lady footage.
Shooting videos are not usually so graphic so I did not expect what I saw.
Our nation is dying from complexity.
The person asked if I felt like that. No. Don’t want my opinion, then don’t ask the question metmom.
My wife had a stroke on Sep 6, 2019 and died on Sep 12, 2019.
The first two weeks of September are always difficult for me, and with this depraved murder, the day before Sep 11 anniversary just wounds me deeply.
I worked today, as usual on Thursdays, from home.
