This video is going to make you lose your mind.
A home run ball was hit into the stands at a Phillies game last night and a dad was able to snag the ball for his son before this lady who dropped the catch was able to grab it off the ground.
What happened next was wild.
Dad obviously didn't just snag the ball out of her hand. He grabbed it off the ground while they were both there simultaneously after she dropped the catch. He also gave the ball to his son. The rules of fandom clearly state that's his ball.
But the rules of an old Phillies lady scorned ...
This lady was booed into outer space.
This took place in Miami, but its the Marlins so there were more Phillies fans around than Marlins, but the Marlins team helped to make the inter-Philly dispute right.
And the Phillies, on top of it all, made the whole affair worthwhile.
Lots of people have caught a home run ball, but not that many kids get a bat! And that's not all. Fox's The Fixer has decided to hook up the family as well.
This kid had no idea how famous he was going to be and how much free stuff he was going to get.
My favorite part of this whole story, and it should be a surprise to no one, is that the top reply to all of these posts is something like this:

Yes, stooping down to the screeching banshee’s level could have made that situation so much uglier. She was unhinged. I think the dad made a wise choice and it worked out well for him and his kids and not so great for Karen.

I do think he was in the row in front of her she was reaching down.

Hey, I just saw a new video from behind at a 45° angle.
Looks like yes she was grabbing for it from the row above, another guy was also grabbing at it and maybe another guy.
He got it first.
It actually looks like she tried to grab it out of his hand.
As far as I can tell the Internet has misidentified two different women as the woman and both were wrong. Real person has not yet come forward of been found as I type this. If I were either er of those two women wrongly accused Law Suits would be forthcoming.
The woman in question is said to have worked for a school in district in New Jersey and it turned out that was false also.
The Internet is just too quick to make assumptions and accusations before all the facts are known.
That news turned out to be false.

He did that to de-escalate the mess not make it worse.

Not sure what to think, except it’s been overblown.
She was wrong. The father I feel so so about. The kid didn’t do anything wrong.
Then he goes to jail for Felony Assault
