When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or the stable.
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.
Difficult truths will soon see the light of day.

From what I have picked up looking at the Three Gorges its all about downstream.There is likely an important portion of Chinas economy at stake downstream of the dam. Not to mention several hundred million people as well.
In Chinese communism people are not as relevant as they are in the US. They are more or less numbers to be manipulated one way or the other.
If the dam should break apart which may or may not happen since I get what you are talking about with a leaky dam taking some of the stress off. Maybe the same happening at three gorges who knows. Either way my guess is the Three Gorges built about 20 years ago or so was likely not built to specs used when Chickamauga was built.
From what I read everything was substandard during the Three Gogges build since it was a sort of the Act Blue laundry of its time feeding commie needs all over the place.
I have no idea of the future of Three Gorges only that flooding of any level imagineable is likely but who knows when.
