It appears to be the case that for a very large segment of black America, the ideas of conscientiousness and good citizenship are simply nonexistent.

The bottom line is that a civilized society requires that citizens respect a certain level of behavior and decorum, and we’re seeing too many black Americans ignoring that basic responsibility. When people on the edge of the Overton Window of the culture wars (that is, people most normal Americans would find deeply offensive) start saying things that significant numbers of people agree with, that suggests a tipping point might be near.

Me thinks this writer is naive. They brought the problems with them from Africa where there is no Wakanda. As for the 'tipping point' being near my buddy suggested it will take 6 generations for them to be integrated enough to function as a group.

When will members of the political class acknowledge there's THIS problem? Even our favorite POTUS won't touch it.

Umm, the problem is in the corrupting of language. There is no black America. No yellow America, etc. The only people who use this language are the racists in America.

There are too many grifters amongst the poverty pimps. Being a member of of the Justice Brothers is too profitable.

The Great Society grew government to where there were too many opportunities for them to take advantage of.

Perhaps our favorite POTUS is setting up our economy so there’s more than one job for everyone to do. He could then pull the rug out from under every welfare recipient. There will be more respect amongst all of us as we appreciate more the efforts and sacrifices we all make to function. Plus we’ll all be too tired to cause trouble.

There are people at Sam’s Club who are paid way too much already to collect these carts. I’m not going to provide unpaid labor hiking halfway across the lot to return it.

Fatherhood isn’t black.

To solve the problem of black culture, one requires fathers. Yet the welfare state requires that fathers abandon children for the checks to keep coming.

Who will ever make the point that the path to a healthy black culture will first require the substantial pain of weaning blacks from the welfare state?

The checks must get smaller. The checks must be conditioned on the father staying with his biological offspring. Work must be required.

NOBODY has the balls to make these points in public, because to say these truths is:

The writer is naive to think that he is reporting anything insightful or newsworthy. Black America -- intact families, civil behavior, etc. -- declined to rock bottom decades ago.

Is there any greater failure of our first black president Barack Obama than the standing of the black community? He used them like the old plantation owner who squeezed every last drop of usefulness(votes)out of them and just discarded them like trash. Now his favorite environs? Country club golf courses.

Scott Jennings on CNN should bring up the fact that Chicago has been in full on meltdown and Barack Obama has done nothing to help. Jimmy Carter had Habitat for Humanity to his credit. What purpose does Barack Obama serve, except trying to be the perpetual leader of the Democrat party?

John Derbyshire took heat. Remember that? He said stay away where there are a large congregation of blacks. A politician can’t say that unless she’s safe-think Jasmine Crockett(She wasn’t talking about blacks).

So where does this ‘tipping point’ gather steam? I’d like to say it starts in professional sports where blacks are predominant. Fat chance. Black comedians JOKING about their shortcomings? You laugh and it goes away. It will start when this country is ready for some tough love. Go ahead Mr. Trump. You’ve got 3 and a half years to get the economy going to the point where you can pull the rug out.

40 hours a week of PROVABLE private employment should allow everyone access to the needed benefits of a decent life. They should work even if it likes them . Otherwise they’ll kill someone else.

Yes. LBJ’s programs wrecked the black family unit.

Add to that today’s Democrats who want to keep blacks poor and dependent on the government.

Add to that the “free trade” Republicans who shipped all the good factory jobs out of the country.
