JUST IN: French farmers successfully get 500 gypsy squatters evicted after spraying them with manure, according to The Sun.
French farmers decided to take things into their own hands after police reportedly refused to remove an illegal gypsy camp on their property.
With the harvest just weeks away, the farmers say they were forced to take things into their own hands, so they started spraying the squatters with poop.
Now, according to The Sun, a judge has ordered that all 500 members of the "travelling community of gypsies" must leave the area.
"It is a major victory for us. A civil court decision went in our favor," said a farmer.
"The travellers were told to move out within 24 hours, or else face police intervention and fines. Around 500 of them, travelling in about 200 caravans, all left."

You’d think considering the conditions gypsies normally live in, they wouldn’t mind the poop.
Sounds like a two-fer....get rid of them and fertilize at the same time.

We’ve had problems with gypsies of some kind at the ranch every decade or so.
They go down oil lease roads, find one of the old home places or an old oilfield man camp, get the pump working (if not working), hook up electricity to steal from oil company leases, and suddenly 10 school buses and 100 crappy pickups are there.
Sherriff has to call in reinforcements to get them out.
Well now all you need is a tank Sprayer full of cow pie sauce.................Pig Poop is better if you can get it..........
The field is heavy with mesquite right now and we’re not under a burn ban.

They’re originally from India. I’m surprised they didn’t like the poop. Indians seem to be obsessed with it.
It’d be a shame to waste all that mesquite................

Many years ago, back in the late eighties or early nineties, we used to get irregular visitations from a large band of honest to goodness gypsies. Dozens of them.
When one of their “upper members” needed healthcare, they came to the hospital I worked at.
This was long enough ago where our cafeteria still used metal utensils (forks, knives, spoons) and they would take all of them. Literally vacuum them all up.
The last time they came, the “King of The Gypsies” (as he was referred to) was near death, and he ended up in the ICU where my wife was working.
She said there were large groups of them huddled outside the ICU entrance, 24 hours a day, because it was said (don’t know if this is true) that the first Gypsy to see the dead king’s eyes after death would become the next King of The Gypsies”!
I recall seeing marauding bands of them around the hospital. They stopped coming to our hospital at some point, but us old-timers remembered them.
It was very strange. And they looked like Gypsies, too. Dark complexions, dark eyes, dark hair, huddled together in various places around the facility.
I don’t recall what country they came over from, but it definitely wasn’t the USA. I think it might have been France or Spain. They didn’t speak English that I recall.
