Meet the shameless serial shoplifter who is still waltzing free down NYC store aisles despite a staggering 254 arrests.

Anthony White, 63, who has made larceny a career, was busted as recently as May on burglary charges after being paroled from prison on parole in December.

The thief was allegedly ripping off stores where he had already been banned for theft — but was set free by judges after his arraignments on the latest offenses, court records show.

Rampant shoplifting like White is accused of has prompted stores across the city to lock their goods behind plastic barricades.

While the number of offenses has dipped 10% so far this year over last year, the crime has surged 89% to more than 27,705 incidents this year from 14,286 in 2020, police data show.

Critics and cops complain that the petty thieves are routinely released back to the street as soon as they’re arrested, stymying the NYPD’s attempts to return the offense to pre-2020 levels, police sources said.

Maybe NYC has a “300 strikes and you’re out” policy. If so, this guy still has a bit of leeway.

On a more serious note, you gotta feel bad for NYC cops. They put great effort into getting the bad guys off the streets, only to see them walk free.

As for the shopkeepers… maybe it’s best to just get outta Dodge.

The problem stems back to 1791 when NY got a preliminary copy of the bill of rights by mistake that had a different 2nd amendment that said “ the right of the people to help themselves to the possessions of others shall not be infringed” and they’ve insisted that their version is correct ever since.

Heck, with his skill sets, Mr White could wear other hats. Perhaps Police Chief. Mr White certainly knows, is very familiar with, the day to day operations in the Police Department.

I’m kinda’ looking forward to watching NY city vote in a communist for mayor and getting the suck that they deserve. Elections have consequences and ignorant stupidity like theirs has even greater ones. So they’ll elect him and be all rah rah rah and then the bottom’s going to drop out on them.
