JUST IN: Ken Paxton’s Wife Announces Divorce in Shock Statement — Citing ‘Recent Discoveries’

Texas State Sen. Angela Paxton (R) announced on Thursday that she has filed for divorce from her husband, Texas Attorney General and Senate candidate Ken Paxton (R) after “recent discoveries.”

“Today, after 38 years of marriage, I filed for divorce on biblical grounds. I believe marriage is a sacred covenant and I have earnestly pursued reconciliation. But in light of recent discoveries, I do not believe that it honors God or is loving to myself, my children, or Ken to remain in the marriage,” Angela Paxton wrote on X. “I move forward with complete confidence that God is always working everything together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose.”

Paxton said she filed for divorce on “biblical grounds,” which would primarily refer to adultery or abandonment.

The Texas Attorney General released his own statement, pointing blame at “countless political attacks and public scrutiny.”

“After facing the pressures of countless political attacks and public scrutiny, Angela and I have decided to start a new chapter in our lives,” he wrote. “I could not be any more proud or grateful for the incredible family that God has blessed us with, and I remain committed to supporting our amazing children and grandchildren. I ask for your prayers and privacy at this time.”

Ken Paxton is currently running for U.S. Senate for the seat held by Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX). Paxton was elected attorney general in 2015. In 2023, the Texas House of Representatives impeached him over corruption allegations. He was later acquitted by the state Senate where his wife did not participate in a vote, though she attended the Senate trial.

Paxton was accused of using his position to help a real estate developer and he was also accused of an extramarital affair at the time.

KUT News out of Austin, Texas reported on Thursday that they obtained a copy of Angela Paxton’s divorce filing and it accuses her husband adultery and reveals they stopped living together in 2024.

“The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between Petitioner and Respondent that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation,” reads the petition, according to the report.

I'm noticing there's no denying here of any wrongdoing. Only complaining about being caught.

Yeah. The couple hasn’t been living together since 2024, the article says. Probably the Deep State machine found him with somebody else within that last year and told the wife, so she’s bailing out. Or maybe they even just made it up. Either way, we know the Deep State doesn’t want Ken Paxton as a Senator.

And hopefully the people of Texas can recognize that and be all the more ready to vote for him.

Good for her. Look for Paxton's name on Epstein's list.

Well this is not good. I guess there goes Paxton's political career.

Better to get this out and done well before the election ... the “old news” tactic.

Just like Jeri Ryan sunk her husband Jack in Illinois in 2004 which directly gave us obama.

Jeri tried to keep everything sealed. It was the Tribune that got sealed records opened.

We can blame the Illinois Republicans for getting Obama. Pete Fitzgerald was a solid, honest, mostly conservative Republican INCUMBENT. If he ran for re-election, Obama would not have run. But, he crossed the wrong people, and the Republicans pulled support from him, making a relatively safe seat into an open seat.

There was a time when personal scandals hurt democrats as well.

Backfired against Tillis' opponent in NC in 2020.

“His wife is a state senator, wonder how that will play into things.”

It’s obvious she cares nothing about the country. She could have STHU until the election was over. Another phony Christian using “Biblical” as an excuse to harm conservatives.

Whelp, that won’t help his Senate run.

Just what the left wants and will use.

“Biblical” grounds. I think I know what that means!

I was never a fan of Paxton…but he’s not my AG so let the Texans figure this out.

No!!! Peter Fitzgerald.

Jack Ryan was going to run after Fitzgerald was made to understand that he would not be supported for a second term.

Everyone forgets about Pete Fitzgerald. Jack Ryan was a great candidate in many ways, with some failings. Fitzgerald was clean, self-funding, conservative and already in office! Because he was clean, he went after dirty Republicans as well as Democrats.

My guess is Cornyn and co. are paying for her lawyers. This scenario seems very familiar but I can’t put my finger on it.

Trump was a serial cheater and we elected him.

I wish we had video of Ivana skiing backwards while confronting Trump about Marla Maples.

Amazing. If a Paxton was a Dem they’d pin a medal on him, trash the wife, and put him up for VP in 2028. But he’s a R so the sky is falling and he’s a peice of trash.
Unless he was driving a stick or is a closet pedo I’m still voting for him.

Well, look at the bright side..mercifully Ken's 38 year sojourn in hell is over. Won't have that interrogating him over the dinner table anymore.
