I believe I recall reading — when I was young — that this cube was 14’x14’x14’. May have been a Ripley’s snippet.

Exactly why it has been Wealth for over 4,000 years, paper comes and goes…one must ask why are the World’s Central Banks buying historic, record amounts of Gold?

Some of us know the answer, the “ herd” doesn’t.

“All The Gold Discovered In The World Would Fit In A 23 x 23 Meter Cube”

The last time I looked at a cube it had 3 dimensions.

“… that’s about the length of a cricket pitch.”

That really helps an American visualize the cube size!

There is gold disseminated all over the earth, primarily in igneous rock. One part per million here. One part per billion there. I am sure there is a small quantity of gold in your backyard. But you would need a small pair of tweezers to pick it up.

Despite its size and weight, some idiot would still try to steal it in the middle of the night with a pick-up truck and a winch.

‘The gold left in the ground is measured either as “reserves”,’....

i believe the terminology is: inferred, indicated, measured, probable, proven

I don’t think this guy knows anything about gold mining.
