What is the Difference Between Vegan and Vegetarian?

What is Vegan?

A vegan diet is a strict form of plant-based eating that excludes all animal products and by-products, such as meat, poultry, fish, dairy, eggs, and honey. Some products, such as refined sugars and gelatins, are excluded due to the use of animal products during processing.

Vegans rely on plant-based foods, including fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds, to meet their nutritional needs.

Common motivations for adopting a vegan lifestyle include ethical concerns about animal welfare, a desire to reduce environmental impact, and the pursuit of health benefits associated with a plant-based diet.

What is a Vegetarian?

A vegetarian diet is a less restrictive form of plant-based eating. It excludes meat, poultry, and fish while allowing for the consumption of some animal-derived products.

Like vegans, vegetarians often adopt this lifestyle due to ethical concerns, environmental sustainability, and health benefits

both would rather harm themself so they can pretend they are selflessly helping animals, others, or the planet.

Though I do have to admit I did not eat animal products for many years, it grossed me out thinking it was kind of cannibalistic to eat muscles like humans have. it wasnt about the animals or planet, just didnt want to be a cannibal.

And:

no the egg farms were set on fire and various other “unexpected” issues like bird flu etc by the agenda much larger than just Mrs Biden with the autopen while Joey licked his ice cream cone.

They forgot virtue signaling and mental illness.

Some vegans eat honey which is an animal by-product. I guess by extension all fruits and vegetables are by-products of animals (pollinators) so the religion makes no sense.

What’s wrong with Honey? Honey is a gift from God.

Where is the other one——

“A pescetarian is someone who follows a primarily plant-based diet that includes fish and other seafood, but excludes meat and poultry. This dietary approach is often referred to as pesco-vegetarian.”

Self-help guru Tony Robbins was not one but ate a large amount of fish each day until doctor’s found he was in danger of dying from mercury poisoning. Salmon and other large fish consume a lot of mercury they pass on to the humans. Albacore tuna also too high. A shame. I love fish.

The body slowly excretes the mercury over the months but a lot stays.

There are websites that list the dangers of mercury content in fish from highest to lowest.

McDonald’s Filet O’Fish is low. I’m glad.

Why did the vegetarian cross the road?

To get to the other side to tell you “I am a vegetarian.”

Our teeth define us to be omnivores. We need some of everything to get the nutrients our bodies and minds need.

End of.

When you do not have meat and dairy it is a pretty good alternative. Press Tofu to drain

Use oil to substitute for butter.

Don’t even let me start on my niece who is gluten free. If she has to be, or wants to be, that’s fine. But she has been advertising it, loudly, for two decades. When she enters another person’s kitchen, chaos ensues. In restaurants, she interrogates waiters and cooks.

Go on whatever diet weird-ass diet you want to, or need to, but just STFU about it. Please.

Even the Double Filet O’ Fish is considered low.

Because of things like that this is a great country.

Vegetarian is a diet that does not include meat. It was often used as a punishment or a way of doing penitence. Some people do it for religious reasons and some for reasons of health. It is a very old way of eating and can be a healthy diet if done with care.

Veganism is a diet embraced and promoted by people who are into dumb fads. They claim they do not want to "exploit animals" and yet they do so repeatedly. They are mentally ill delusional freaks that should be shunned in any sane society.

The difference?

Generally, a vegetarian will mind their own business and not cringe, whine about, or lecture you when you’re eating animal protein around them.

Vegans tend to be militant about their self-adjudged superior planetary ecosystem-saving choice of diet and get all judgey about it giving critical opinions where none are invited or welcomed.

In short, vegans tend to be real d*cks.
