President Donald Trump sensationally called for a regime change in Iran as he held crisis talks with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Sunday.
The US president took to his Truth Social page to share updates about the country's military attacks on Iran, when he suggested that the current regime 'is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN.'
'Why wouldn't there be a regime change,' Trump asked, rhetorically - even as he and Starmer urged Ayatollah Khameini to 'return to the negotiating table as soon as possible.'
They made the urgent request after the US sent a fleet of B-2 bombers to 'obliterate' three Iranian enrichment sites on Saturday night.
The 'bunker buster' raid from Trump stunned the world and led the United Nations to hold an emergency meeting on Sunday afternoon, where officials said the US crippled Iran's crucial enrichment sites.
In response, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that the nation 'have to respond' to Trump's aggression, and the US terror threat was ominously raised in anticipation of a tit-for-tat strike.
Earlier Sunday, Trump taunted Iran as he said his actions took 'the bomb right out of their hands', and praised the overnight strikes as a 'spectacular military success.'
The president spoke out as reports emerged that he attempted to arrange peace talks with Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Turkey a week before his strikes, but he was snubbed.
Trump even offered to fly to Turkey personally for face-to-face talks, but expressed frustration with Iran before he ultimately decided to launch on Saturday night.

That would be like saying “We just want to stop the NAZI’s from waging war. If Hitler wants to remain in power, that’s none of our business”. The problem is, you can’t have one without the other. Allowing an enemy that remains committed to its destructive agenda, such as the Mullah regime, to remain in power is how we get endless wars.
The terms of peace sow the seeds for the next war. Allowing Stalin to occupy large swathes of Eastern Europe and northern Korea in the aftermath to WWII ensured 40 plus years of cold war in Europe, as well as the Korean War, which has never officially ended.
And this guy is NOT saying it was aliens.
MIGA
That’s racist
Iranian people need to rise up and make it happen. There is strength in numbers and the mullahs do not have popular support. But the US should not get involved beyond what we’ve already done.
It's up to them....
We can take out Khamenei and Iran’s military top brass, as far as I’m concerned. But, what ends up replacing him should be decided by the Iranians - as long as that replacement doesn’t continue the current regime’s commitment to our destruction and to spreading war and terror around the world.

Of course — the idea of regime change in countries like Iran, Russia, North Korea, and China resonates with many. Such a shift could mark the end of some of the most oppressive ideologies in modern times: radical Islamic fundamentalism, neo-Soviet authoritarianism, and rigid communism. The prospect of a freer, more open world is undeniably appealing.
The real question is: how can this transformation come about concerning Iran? Ideally, change would arise from within — led by the courage and determination of the Iranian people themselves.
I completely resonate with your comment — it’s been almost four years since I’ve felt this happy too - The Trump effect!
Bomb,Bomb,Bomb Iran was 45 years ago. Although the CIA likely created this mess, we should destroy the oil export terminal at Kharg Island, and their sole gasoline/diesel refinery. See if the Persians can establish a civilized society. There are almost 100 million sales.
Souls
The mess was originally created by the Carter Administration and their moronic human right centric foreign policy. Human rights for societies that have no historic precedent or understanding of the concept. It’S a modern application of Wilson’s 17 points which laid the groundwork for WWII.
That would be fabulous!
Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!
Ah, yes. He is an Upham.
Regime change has always been the plan.
He didn’t say we would change the regime. Clearly he implied that the Iranian people would do that.
I didn’t see a “banned or suspended” notice when clicking Hardspunned’s name.
The Devil never goes quietly.
It’s an evil regime? I had no idea.
