My daughters have gifted me a six month subscription for a popular dating site for Father's Day.
My wife of 39 years (their mother) died over two years ago and I went through successful cancer treatment last year and in now in remission. I mentioned to my daughters that I might be open to meeting someone now given that the numerical odds are in my favor and my sweet wife waiting in heaven would want me to be happy for the next twenty years or so of my life.
They are also going to introduce me to some of their contacts who might be open to a pity date. Of course (being good daughters) they asked if I would consider anyone outside my race, religion, etc. I told them that the one and only turn-off would be liberals.
My life's experience is that it is generally easier to get someone to change one's religion, cultural outlook or almost anything other than extreme political views. Liberals come with an entitlement mentality. At best, they would be a waste of time and dinner money. At worst, they would have divorce rape on their minds . . . pretend to love you in order to steal half of what you have worked a lifetime to earn.
I am realistic enough to understand that finding someone like my late wife would be impossible. She was kind, caring, conservative and had a big heart. I loved her dearly and deeply. We raised three highly successful children who have blessed us with wonderful grandchildren. But I would far rather spend the rest of my life alone than get romantically involved with a liberal leftist lunatic with divorce rape on her mind.

In general, it is true that belief congruence enhances relationships. As to the talent pool out there, I can’t draw on personal experience, but a close friend of mine did. He is a liberal, has a personal problem with religion, so he joined a dating site and specified “no religious” need apply. What he got was a series of the most screwed up old liberal women the world may ever have seen; one after another, wallowing in unresolved issues from decades back in their lives, unhappy, and wary of males to boot.
I’d say, find a good conservative Christian woman, they are the happiest demo, and btw they enjoy sex the most.

I would the select based on whatever characteristics you can select on, which should include being a Christian. I know political leaning was not available for me.
I would also look to a woman who lost her own Christian partner. I would not date someone divorced.
Stay away from liberal women, period.
From my point of view, the main thing is sharing the Christian faith!

Just pick a woman you don’t know and give her half of your stuff. It will save you the court costs and lawyers fees.
If you feel not being in a relationship is a problem, it's your problem and only you can address it. Your daughters love you but will fail repeatedly before ever accepting that they can't help you. They want the best for you but will never accept that they can't help you get it.
