If the supermarket is your favorite place in the world, you might be a “Groceryhead.”
Kroger knows where you’re coming from. And now it’s launched a social content series from Dentsu Creative starring Chrissy Teigen and positioning its stores as the perfect place for Groceryheads to nerd out.
Throughout the campaign, Chrissy—a self-described Groceryhead—will answer common questions, break down her favorite products and reveal grocery-loving truths that the Groceryhead community will relate to. The work launches this week with the “Cart Confessions” spot above. The campaign is running on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.
“Since 2020, grocery stores have become places for meetups, meet-cutes and therapeutic ‘me moments’ for millions of Americans—we call them “Groceryheads,’” Bridget Jewell, executive creative director and head of the Social Creative Lab at Dentsu Creative. “When we discovered Chrissy was one of our Groceryheads, it was only natural to partner her with Kroger to highlight this growing community of Americans.”
“Groceryheads don’t just say they love grocery shopping, they live it,” said Madlenne Kramer, creative director at Dentsu Creative. “They shop multiple times a week, return stray items to their rightful shelves, and treat cart returns like a sacred ritual. That’s what being a Groceryhead is all about. And Chrissy Teigen? She embodies the ultimate Groceryhead.”

I try get to Kroger on Fridays when they have 4X fuel points. You can get up to $1 off a gallon of gas using these fuel points. And this week they have T-Bones for $7.99, ready to grill this weekend.
I live midway between 2 Krogers, 5 miles either way, easy to shop. But if I continue down the road for 13 miles there’s a Big, Beautiful Kroger at 23 Mile and Hayes North of Detroit that is the biggest and best I’ve seen.
LA and Utah are filthy with Kroger stores.
She is married to singer John Legend. She had a Twitter account where she posted a lot of vile and creepy things about babies and young children.
She said they looked like porn stars, she said she would like to do sexual things to them, commented what she’d like to see kids do with adults, etc., etc., etc..
She makes references to eating babies and how delicious they are.
Pizza references. Other references to pedophile language for children.
She would like to “Anthony Weiner” children.
Etc., etc., etc. .
Besides that, she and her husband are pretty much known swingers and freaks involved in parties with the Obamas and Diddy, etc.
She is disgusting.
Here is a youtube for anyone who wants to go down the rabbit hole

They are???
I checked the website and only saw Krogers in the Southeast and out to Ohio.
My apologies and I guess I stand corrected on that point.
I have appreciated the 4x fuel points, too. When they have a good sale it’s a good sale. And their clearance racks are da bomb.
In the last few months their website for coupon clipping and finding sales has become even more unwieldy than it’s been, and very time consuming.
Then there’s the sale items that are only available for delivery or pickup. You don’t get the sale price in store.
I think Kroger has lost their damn minds.
I will suffer but I refuse to shop until and unless they get rid of this disgusting woman.
Thanks. Creep Factor 9 ... I’ll pass on going down the rabbit hole.
Chrissy.......whoever. Another name I never knew, yet even cared about.
I liked her better when she was Tila Tequila.
For those who don’t know, she’s John Legend’s mouthy wife.
Thank you.
Shame on Kroger. Chrissy Teigen is a deranged, ugly, perverted creature.
I can tell you this person is a celebrity, but I know nothing about her. Have seen the name, but that is it.
We don’t have Kroger’s here, but thanks for alerting those who need to know.
And this whole concept sounds so stupid. Have never met anyone who enjoys grocery shopping.
Let’s not give her any ideas now.
She is an arrogant unlikeable spoiled brat and bully.
Okay, now that you mention her awful husband, I remember the two of them. ~~shudder~~
Did she pick up some fresh pizza?
SMITH’S IN NEVADA, ALSO
I live RURAL-—in N Nevada.
Over a year ago-—THE wise guys at Kroger/Smith’s decided to quit sending out their weekly ads.
RESULT? I have probably been in a SMITH’s only a couple of times when I am in that area.
NO LONGER going there when Chicken thighs or Pork Shoulders are on sale & I can see that in the weekly ads. Those are STAPLES for my freezer because I am on Soc Sec. I need the SALE prices.
I AM NOT GOING TO DRIVE OVER 50 MILES ROUND TRIP TO “BROWSE”
Trying to follow the ads on the internet is not easy. Tried that.
You must do what you need to do for your situation. I understand needing sales prices, and chicken and pork on sale are my staples, too. Get them where you can.
Being in rural N Nevada has got to be beautiful but challenging. How long have you lived there? Do you have a spread? Do you ever think of moving closer to town?
I have the luxury of a few other grocery stores, club stores, and chef’s outlet stores, here in the Roanoke Va area.
Hubs and I will be SS Only in a few years, we’re trying to plan for that.
But, these grocery stores going all digital with a whole bunch of hoops to jump through to get a coupon is demeaning, time wasting, aggravating, and confusing. Kroger is the worst of the websites I’ve found so far.
I just have InstaCart deliver my groceries.
You could save the delivery charges and do HEB or Kroger “My Cart”, and order the groceries, then schedule a pick up day/time. Show up, tell them where you are specifically parked, and VOILA! They bring the groceries out to you, load them in your car, and off you go.
Any “cart” over $50 and the picking fee is $0.
