‘He Killed Himself’: FBI Director Patel and Deputy Director Bongino Double Down on Epstein Claim

Billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, whose list of clients included some of the world’s most elite, really killed himself inside his jail cell, FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino said.

Speaking to Fox News Sunday Morning Futures’ Maria Bartiromo, Patel and Bongino both confirmed the deceased hedge fund manager who owned Pedophile Island died by suicide inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City.

“You said Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide. People don’t believe it,” Bartiromo pressed the pair.

“They have a right to their opinion,” Patel responded.

“But as someone who’s been a public defender, a prosecutor, who’s worked in that prison system and been inside segregated housing——you know a suicide when you see one. And that’s what that was,” he added.

FBI Deputy Director Bongino backed up Patel, saying, “He killed himself.”

“Again, you want me to—I’ve seen the whole file…He killed himself,” Bongino said.

The claims align with what Director Patel told a Senate Appropriations subcommittee earlier this month, including comments to Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.), saying, “Senator, I believe he hung himself in a cell in the Metropolitan detention center.”

Sen. Kennedy: "Are you going to release all the information about Jeffrey Epstein?"

FBI Director Patel: "We are working through that right now with the DOJ."

Sen. Kennedy: "When do you think you'll have that done? Before I die?"

FBI Director Patel: "In the near future." pic.twitter.com/L2osfeXOVa

“Are you going to release all the information about that?” Kennedy questioned.

Patel answered, “Senator, we are working through that right now with the Department of Justice.”

“When do you think you’ll have it done, Kash?” the Louisiana senator asked.

“I think in the near future, sir,” replied Patel.

“Like, before I die?” Kennedy inquired.

“Senator, we’ve been working on that and we’re doing it in a way that protects victims and also doesn’t put out into the ether information that is irrelevant for production of the public, such as CSAM [child sex abuse material],” Patel answered.

An update by Bongino eight days ago also stated, “We are working with the DOJ on the Epstein case and, as the AG stated, there are voluminous amounts of downloaded child sexual abuse material that we are dealing with.”

I’d like to update you on some things that I think are going well, and some things that we can, and will, do better.

The workforce has been working overtime on task force operations to remove dangerous illegal aliens from the country. The work continues. The message is clear.…

— Dan Bongino (@FBIDDBongino) May 10, 2025

“There are also victim’s statements that are entitled to specific protections. We need to do this correctly, but I do understand the public’s desire to get the information out there.”

Is it possible the arch-villain was allowed to off himself behind bars, taking with him the secrets of some of the world’s most powerful people? Or have two of the most admired figures in the MAGA movement been compromised by the Deep State?

If he was murdered, would there be defensive wounds? Fingernails, bruising, red knuckles… something other than speculation? I obviously haven’t seen the evidence, and fingernails could be clipped and cleaned of DNA but there should in theory be other physical evidence… unless he was drugged first. Has there been a toxicology report? If there was one would anyone trust it?

correctional workers don’t wear body cameras (though not a bad idea in high profile and sensitive situations) or take pictures of hanging inmates before performing lifesaving actions. hanging by sheet from a bed or t-shirt tied to bars. usually only 1 or 2 officers on site initially in a cell block with safety/fake attempt to attack staff of fear of being attacked at the moment of discovery, when seconds count staff are minutes away.

Yeah, guards gone, cameras don’t work, no proof and killed himself when he stated he was fearing for his life.

But I think Patel and Bongino have the integrity and are not invested in this issue to where they would be part of any sort of cover up.

I think they are agency first swamp rats. Not as swampy as their predecessors but neither have the inclination to do what is necessary and shine a light on all the malfeasance and criminality. To do so would mean the entire agency would have to be cut out and cauterized and many agents would see prison.

Neither Patel nor Bongino are willing to do that to their beloved agency.

I suppose it’s possible but I rather doubt it.

Correct. Both talked tough right up until they got their shiny badges. Then they became fanboys who think they can fix that shithole.

I think you’re close. I suggest a slight twist to that theory, that he was a dirt broker. He got the dirt on people then sold it to whomever would pay the most. So yeah he would work with CIA and Mkssad and MI6 and probably others. He may have had people sent to him by these agencies in a sort of honeypot scheme, but also just lured them in on his own and then sold what he collected, or if it was of no value to intelligence then just did the straight blackmail for himself.

It is a good thing the officers didn’t have body cameras—no pictures of them getting orders to leave the scene so the murderer can get handed the keys to the cell and do the dirty.

I did not believe Epstein killed himself when it happened and I still don't.

Epstein turning state's witness and being placed under witness protection would explain it all, even Patel and Bongino saying he killed himeslf.

That they can say this in a case where the guards were missing and the cameras non functioning in a massive coincidence in which no one was held accountable is amazing.

the cameras are a problem unless noted as a deficiency days prior to the incident the bad maintenance staff, but the staff on overtime not performing required duties ie. 30 minute checks and not being alert is on the bureau administrators and poor staffing of overworked non-custodial staff.

Frankly I am not interested in the salacious and sordid details of any perverts like this. It will not help MAGA one iota.

“Both talked tough right up until they got their shiny badges.”

I think you are on the right track.

Somebody probably showed them pictures of Epstein getting strangled and then hung and warned them if they got out of line they could be next—and their successors would be saying that they committed suicide.

So the fact that he possessed evidence that could put Bill and Hillary Clinton, Prince Andrew, Bill Gates and many other prominent people in prison when he conveniently "committed suicide" doesn't bother you?

Someone needs to ask Patel if they can clarify what Alex Acosta supposedly told the first Trump administration’s vetting team concerning the reasoning involved in giving the sweetheart deal. He supposedly said he was told Epstein belonged to intelligence and that it was above his pay grade. Have any of the new Trump administration been pointedly asked if they have any reason to believe that Epstein was involved in an intelligence operation that involved sex trafficking underage US citizens?
