correctional workers don’t wear body cameras (though not a bad idea in high profile and sensitive situations) or take pictures of hanging inmates before performing lifesaving actions. hanging by sheet from a bed or t-shirt tied to bars. usually only 1 or 2 officers on site initially in a cell block with safety/fake attempt to attack staff of fear of being attacked at the moment of discovery, when seconds count staff are minutes away.
It is a good thing the officers didn’t have body cameras—no pictures of them getting orders to leave the scene so the murderer can get handed the keys to the cell and do the dirty.
