A newly released Harvard study on human intelligence has provided conclusive evidence that while nobody thinks they're stupid, many are.
According to the results of the study, 100% of people think they are not stupid, which means that 100% of all stupid people think they are smart. But they're not smart. They're stupid.
"The results of this study were particularly shocking to me and my colleagues," said Dr. Anton Phoenix, a Harvard psychologist. "According to our findings, there is a possibility that we might be stupid. We certainly don't think we are, but according to the study, that's exactly what stupid people think."
The study's findings went beyond a previous 2018 OECD PISA study that showed 20-30% of students in developed nations struggled with basic problem-solving skills. "We were expecting to learn that at least some percentage of stupid people believe themselves to be intelligent," Phenox continued. "We were surprised to see such lopsided data indicating that, in reality, no stupid person believes they are stupid when, in fact, they are. Stupid, that is."
One participant in the study was skeptical of the results. "There are obviously some flaws in the results, because I know I'm not stupid," said Thomas Ridley, who thinks Attack of the Clones was the best Star Wars movie. "This would mean that I could potentially be stupid without even knowing it. But I'm not. I'm smart."
At publishing time, the results of the study had been called into question after it was pointed out that the team of scientists conducting the research could, unbeknownst to them, be stupid.

I have a Great Trombone personally autographed doorstop!
You need bigger words.
Or 100% of all smart people think they are stupid or circular reasoning takes you in circles or I've had several to many or this is an excerpt from the Biden - Hur interview or a Hogg DNC release or Jessica Tarloff on The Five explaining to Gutfeld why Biden was the greatest President ever or yada, yada . . . .
So, if I think I’m stupid, I’m not stupid?
Izat God Father II? I need to rewatch those.
Not true.
50% of the population possesses below-the-mean intelligence. For your statement to be true, IQ distribution would have to be symmetrical.
LOL.
You have got to love the Babylon Bee and the funny stuff that they come up with!
But intelligence and how people perceive it along with how it is tested is a very interesting subject. I did not realize how differently people think until I had a work study job in college assisting people with learning disabilities. And it turned out that I have brain that for whatever reasons functions differently than most others. They put my cousin who was closest in age to me and a close family member on medication because his issues which made it difficult for him to sit still and concentrate. My brain and his function in a similar way but he was a little more out of control.
Being a highly competitive person, I always looked forward to the Iowa tests and other similar tests that were administered to us in grade school and beyond. Those who did not do as well generally did not like to take them as much or at all for obvious reasons. Some of my classmates who had other talents did not appreciate being pigeonholed by these exercises.
Fortunately, there were a variety of different categories covered on the Iowa tests so there was always some room for debate about who was the top dog when the scores came back. As far as I was concerned problem solving acuity when it came to fixing mechanical and electrical or electronic devices was not and probably could not be well tested with this type of testing platform.
And of course, the ability to argue a point with an adversary with a similar skillset was another area that was difficult to test with multiple choice format tests. So, I was well aware at an early age that the tests were not completely conclusive. But the ability to do well on these types of tests brought me a lot of enjoyment and some accolades in my youth.
The article at the link from 2023 shows map of the US with annotations indicating average IQ of each state and includes bell curve and other information.

It’s like the Gartner Hype Cycle...this comes in many forms it seems.
“Just think how stupid the average person is. Then realize that half the people are dumber than that.”
-George Carlin
This is right on the money. Look how many college students vote for DemonRATS. It doesn’t get any stupider than that.
It is
I looked at your link and this jumped out at me:
“An interesting corollary, noted in I forget where, is that areas with warmer climates tend to have a lower IQ average.”
Whoever wrote that is the dumbest person of the freakin planet if he truly believes temperature and not demographics is the reason.
Life’s tough.
It’s tougher when you’re stupid. So any of you out there who think you’ve had a really tough life.......
There it is.
Watch the speed of their thought and ability to articulate and compose.
The breadth and depth of their knowledge and insights...
Its pretty easy to be humbled in that environment.
