Ukrainian President Zelensky and the leaders of several NATO countries spoke on Saturday with President Trump and stressed they are ready for an unconditional 30-day ceasefire starting Monday, Ukraine's foreign minister said.

Trump called for a 30-day ceasefire in the Russia-Ukraine war earlier this week. While Ukraine agreed, the Kremlin hasn't given a clear answer so far.

The leaders of France, U.K., Germany and Poland visited Kyiv on Saturday and met with Zelensky to discuss the ceasefire plan.
At the end of the meeting Zelensky and the European leaders called Trump and briefed him on their position.
"Ukraine and all allies are ready for a full unconditional ceasefire on land, air, and at sea for at least 30 days starting already on Monday," said Andrii Sybiha, Ukraine's foreign minister.

Two sources with knowledge of the 15-minute call said Zelensky and the European leaders told Trump that if a ceasefire is agreed upon, Ukraine is ready to begin direct peace talks with Russia.
They stressed to Trump that if Putin refuses the 30-day ceasefire, European countries will impose new sanctions on Russia, the sources said.
"Trump seemed satisfied to see Ukraine embracing the ceasefire and accepting direct negotiations with Russia," one source said.
The second source said Trump was glad to hear they all back his proposal. "We're waiting for Russia's move now," the source said.

The Z man wants time to reload. Let’s work out a peace deal and end this meat grinder war.
Didn’t the Germans basically do that in November 1918? They were still in France when they agreed to the Armistice.
“A durable solution to the Ukraine crisis cannot be found only through a ceasefire or a halt to hostilities along the line of contact, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov wrote in an article for The International Affairs magazine.”
“It is no less important to achieve full respect for human rights in the territories remaining under the control of the Kiev regime, which, after the violent power grab in 2014, set out to exterminate everything associated with Russia and the Russian world, including the Russian language, culture, traditions, canonical Orthodoxy, and Russian-language media”

They are only telling Trump that because Putin has already rejected it. We’ve seen this game from Zelenskyy far too many times already. Which is why we now see Putin playing the same game.
Xi Jinping is already on his way out. He won’t get another term. He is trying to have his replacement be Ding Xuexiang.
Which is why I haven't followed this war closely. I don't who to believe.
“Yeah? Well, get on with it, then!”
Same line we heard about Putin being on the way out same propaganda machine IMHO.
“Russia and China have made progress in their negotiations on the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline”

Denazified = suppression of Ukrainian nationalism and replacement of the democratically elected government with one imposed by Moscow.
Disarmed = made defenseless against Russian aggression.
Sorry, but neither one is going to happen.
No, that’s not how I learned of it.
Lindsey Graham in charge with the assistance of John McCain from the grave?
“I don’t who to believe.”
Neither side.
I believe The Institute for the Study of War site is good for determining front line positions.
Our news media is awful. In the 1960s, the media covered the Vietnam War from the country.
Ukraine is weak...and so is the deceitful Euro-Reich.
Trump has no cards to play.
“Disarmed = made defenseless against Russian aggression.”
Ukraine should be able to have unlimited defensive weapons and domestic military personnel.
Russia will want Ukraine not to have and there not to be in Ukraine:
1. missile means capable of strikes more than 100 kilometers away
2. nuclear weapons
3. fissile material production ability
4. any development program for any of the above
“Denazified = suppression of Ukrainian nationalism and replacement of the democratically elected government with one imposed by Moscow.”
Austria and Finland had (and have) democratically elected governments.
Neutrality is a must.
Legal protection for the Russians and their institutions in Ukraine should be at least as good as those given to any protected group by the EU as a whole or USA.

Are you celebrating today? May 10th, 1945 is the date that Ukraine’s Galician SS Division surrendered to U.S. and British Allies.
