Zelensky, European leaders tell Trump they are ready for 30-day ceasefire

Ukrainian President Zelensky and the leaders of several NATO countries spoke on Saturday with President Trump and stressed they are ready for an unconditional 30-day ceasefire starting Monday, Ukraine's foreign minister said.

Trump called for a 30-day ceasefire in the Russia-Ukraine war earlier this week. While Ukraine agreed, the Kremlin hasn't given a clear answer so far.

The leaders of France, U.K., Germany and Poland visited Kyiv on Saturday and met with Zelensky to discuss the ceasefire plan.

At the end of the meeting Zelensky and the European leaders called Trump and briefed him on their position.

"Ukraine and all allies are ready for a full unconditional ceasefire on land, air, and at sea for at least 30 days starting already on Monday," said Andrii Sybiha, Ukraine's foreign minister.

Two sources with knowledge of the 15-minute call said Zelensky and the European leaders told Trump that if a ceasefire is agreed upon, Ukraine is ready to begin direct peace talks with Russia.

They stressed to Trump that if Putin refuses the 30-day ceasefire, European countries will impose new sanctions on Russia, the sources said.

"Trump seemed satisfied to see Ukraine embracing the ceasefire and accepting direct negotiations with Russia," one source said.

The second source said Trump was glad to hear they all back his proposal. "We're waiting for Russia's move now," the source said.

That’s like the Germans declaring a ceasefire on D-Day.

Nyet means nyet!

So, the dumb Europeans will implement more sanctions that will cause more inflation in their own countries while having no impact on Russia? Good luck with that.

--- "Please, President Trump, may we stop killing each other?"

Isn't it odd that "Biden's war" is now become somehow a war for President Trump to stop?

We are about four percent of the world's population, smaller in poulation than the EU, and yet the media is intent on saying President Trump should be the one responsible to fix this mess?

500 million Europeans are asking 300 million Americans to defend them against 140 million Russians. [...] Europe today lacks the belief that we are truly a global force.”

These idiots, France, Ukraine and the EU, think they’re going to come up with something and then call their daddy and have him bear the responsibility for it when it fails to get agreement with Russia.

We can trust any of those Globohomos.

Why just 30 days?

31 days?

40 days?

90 days?

one year?

at least five years?

Yes, 10 years, with option to renew!

Russian assets?

Ukrainian territory?

We keep territory and we sell Western intellectual property within Russian Federation to pay asset holders.

Schedule of return of Russian assets.

Art of Deal!

"Z" is going to say...."No Land For You"...and that will be the end of it.

This isn't about land...it's about ethnic cleansing. Ukraine has brain washed its people to hate everything Russia. In our country, in our area, Russians and Ukrainians were friends. The fights were in Polish Towns.

It’s always the French.

It was their alliance with Czarist Russia that caused WWI to blow up.

They shot 500 drones on victory day, the Moscow airports had to be closed the day before. They snubbed the Russians at all VE Day events, and hotels a NATO leader insult event on victory day.
And now they want a 30 day?
They want 30 for one and only one reason… to flood NATO “peacekeepers” into all the Uke positions and food Ukraine with weapons, missiles of all sorts, fighter jets etc… start a no fly zone etc.
Then the Ukes can do refinerie sabotage, terrorist bombings, assassinations etc without any fear of retaliation.

Typical Euro chicanery.

Imagine that. They want a ceasefire after the US embassy in Kyiv issued a security alert.

The idea of pushing for this right away is to try and stop the retaliatory strike coming to Kiev because of Zelensky’s foolish drone attacks on the Victory WWII day in Russia.

The turd was thrown in the vodka bowl by Zelensky and they don’t want what is coming for doing that.

Ukraine and Euroweenies will cry, “we were calling for peace and look what they did”. ‘🤡🤣

Thirty days of Ukrainian drone production, 30 days of Ukrainian and Western shell production and 30 days of training would be sufficient to put a new Kursk style bulge in the rather long and weak Russian front lines.

Six months of new bulge elimination would cost 10 times more Russian lives than a 30-day ceasefire would save.

Funny, I was thinking close to the same a few minutes ago. Only I was thinking July/August 1944. Ah, GMTA!
