So she can’t gamble not because she lives on the ship, but because she’s married to one of the crew.
Ridiculous click bait,

What’s wrong with gambling on a ship as opposed to a casino? The house wins anyways.............

“Travel insurance costs more than $50 a day.”
Ours cost about $700 a year from Allianz. That’s about two dollars a day.

It helps that you don’t stay in it all the day either...
Just like the cruise ship, she probably is only in it to sleep and change clothes...

Cruise ships are vacation spots. They are NOT assisted living facilities. Not a bad business idea. The Cruise ship would be based in Cancun. But the ship can travel across the Caribbean for a month. Return to Cancun. Stay in port for a week. They should offer some sort of "Senior Living" package like this.
To: Red Badger
Ship’s casinos are notoriously “tighter” on the slots. They pay out much less...

After he was killed at Trafalgar, Lord Nelson’s body was packed in a barrel of brandy to preserve it for the voyage home. It’s a shame they no longer do that. I think my (sort of) friend would have much preferred that over being stuck in the freezer. It would have been fitting for him.

We saw a guy drop dead in the dance floor once. Crew rushed in, scooped him up, took him away, as of it were choreographed. The music never stopped... A dance floor is an odd place to be presented the bill.

I’m always surprised to see how few people are in the casinos on cruise ships. Of course, we do go to bed around 10, so there’s that.

The house doesn’t usually sink. Perhaps we are gambling on different things. ;-D

Perhaps better stated: The house can’t sink. The ship can.

I traveled quite a bit so I purchased an annual travel insurance policy with Alliance. Was less than $2 per day for the entire year. (Around $470 per year)
For medical insurance, I have the same coverage as the US embassy employees around the world for the rest of my life. That includes air evac anywhere in the world.
I dislike cruise ships. Turned down many free cruises as my brother in law was in management for a Greek Cruise Ship Company. It’s not the ship. It’s the people. I was content reading on the top deck or balcony.
