What a cozy, beautiful room. Classical design never goes out of style, even after 450 years.

That is what i used to like about going over there.
Walk into a public place, or private, and go..its still standing.
Tell you what though. Not for people who have allergies. Some of those places are musty as hell.

That top arch of the fireplace looks a little scary on the right hand side.
But, it is a beautiful room.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is opinion or satire. Or both.)

Tudor lodges are cozy, but I prefer at least three or four exits in case of fire.

Reminds me of “the slaughtered lamb”. Watched Condors nest, jenny agutter was in that too.

I went to a small town near York for work. They put me in a hotel built in 1750. Top floor room with sloped roof. Only heater was a small radiant heater in the bathroom. NE england can be very cold in late December. Couple of nights I slept in my clothes to stay warm. North sea air is chilling.

Yet strangely, the Tudors are not remembered for education.

QE-I was the very first English monarch to start schools for the ordinary citizens. She thought everyone should be able to read and work arithmetic.
