Like your screen name says, Be Careful. Pam Bondi has a lot on her plate right now, and at the moment, she is operating with what may best described as a skeleton crew. There were SO many unreliable legal specialists at DOJ headquarters, by the time they were rooted out and sent packing, that the remaining more reliable people were simply overtaxed. No doubt, there is a lot of hiring to be done, but all this requires vetting and interviewing, as well as finally getting them up to speed.
Kind of like trying to finish building the airplane when it is already in the air.

In my view, the Attorney General job is one where "Show, don't tell" should be the absolute unwavering rule. Don't do pressers until after you have actually taken concrete action. Everything that an AG does should incorporate some element of surprise, other otherwise you give those you are targeting with investigations, charges, etc., the opportunity to dispense with vital evidence for your case.
Bondi's approach, unfortunately, is "Tell, and then try to show." That's dangerous and ineffective as an AG, and unfortunately, when you take that approach you end up making a bunch of promises that you either cannot keep, or it's at least perceived that you've overpromised. That erodes trust very quickly.
No sense in openly tipping people off. Besides, if any of what they are doing does gets leaked to the press, they'll be able to get rid of more trash there, and that's a good thing.

Nobody has been arrested yet, not even publicly named as a person of interest because they dont want to. They do not want to start it because it is absolutely too FKNG HUGE to even make a dent in 3 1/2 years time. Or possibly there is deal where the fraud can be exposed and stopped but no one sees prison time.
I am not a gambling man but i’d bet it all on this theory.
Bondi was going to announce today, but a Federal Judge placed a gag order on her and set a hearing demanding Bondi provide the Judge with evidence to his liking!

Maybe set a date to see if Patel and Bondi have done anything. Like Labor Day, or Thanksgiving. If they’ve done nothing by then, they’ve earned the criticism.
