The wattage generated is so small, it won’t even charge a cell phone.

That will be fine until their Chief Engineer, John Galt, mysteriously disappears...
To: Red Badger
Yeah, do enough of that and you will slow the Earth’s rotation.

Although generally accepted theories show that generating electricity from a uniform field like Earth’s magnetic field is impossible, the team believes they have found a “loophole” that allows their device to generate tiny but measurable amounts of electricity. Sounds like static electricity to me, tht anyone can generate, without the device.

“Scientists from Princeton University and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) have invented a device that seemingly generates electricity from the Earth’s rotation.” Good, a small part of mankind is laboring to perhaps help mankind. Gotta be better than wars one would think. Get back with me on that seemingly.

This experiment sounds more like capturing energy than generating it.
Just as we harness energy from photons, we may also be able to harness other particles.
If we find the right materials and means of harnessing waves passing through earth, would could channel them just like aligning molecules in fluorescent tubes near power lines.

Ha! I was just thinking about its resultant Anthropomorphic Global Slowing and how we are doooooommed.

easily within the margin of error.

Great, that’s all we need. First global warming and next it’ll be global slowing, lol. Don’t they know they’re just stealing rotational energy from the planet?
