I’ll try again: Putin thinks Ukraine is part of Russia and he’s willing to genocidally mass murder until that is so. Ukrainians who want thier own borders, language and culture separate from Russia disagree. They are willing to fight and die for those beliefs. That makes war unavoidable in this case.

Russia did push to Kyiv and lost the battle. Putin’s best airborne troops died in the fields around Hostumel airport. Here’s one of them:

Biden and the EU Globohomos put the brakes on aid to Ukraine after they won battlefield victories in Kharkiv and Kherson because they did not want Putin to lose. That gave Russia time to dig in on stolen land and rearm. Now here we are.
According to the Trump administration, who analyzed Putin, the intent was to take territories where Russian ethnic reside in order to protect them. Zelenskyy wanted to deculturalize the Russian ethnic of their Russian identity and not allow them their heritage.
If this happens to Americans, say in Hawaii, you’d want war to protect that.
