This is almost certainly the dumbest talking point in modern political history. I’ve already explained to you why that is. I’ll try again: Putin thinks Ukraine is part of Russia and he’s willing to genocidally mass murder until that is so. Ukrainians who want thier own borders, language and culture separate from Russia disagree. They are willing to fight and die for those beliefs. That makes war unavoidable in this case.

According to the Trump administration, who analyzed Putin, the intent was to take territories where Russian ethnic reside in order to protect them. Zelenskyy wanted to deculturalize the Russian ethnic of their Russian identity and not allow them their heritage.
If this happens to Americans, say in Hawaii, you’d want war to protect that.
If you think my talking point is dumb,then you think Trump is dumb because that is the position of the administration.
