I said it was heading towards 100%. That usually happens when you hit 95% of the population and still want the war to continue.
This was a war to eliminate Ukrainians, so the land could be populated by third worlders. There was never any intent to have a Ukraine, as we know it, after the war.
Look back over this thread and your behavior in it.

Giving up your independence, your country and your resources to an invading force is hardly a good option, and one I would expect any country wouldn’t want to do.
Sorry, when your leaders have chosen to eliminate your population for their cause, there is no reason to fight. Patriotism, for an unjust war, is one of the lowest things a leader can do to his country.

At least according to one renowned historian, Chamberlain’s party believed England should stay out of the war, let the continentals weaken each other, and then England would emerge as the strongest European power.
Of course the understanding of Chamberlain today is a caricature.
In fact, England and France entered the war over Poland, which they couldn’t help, but failed to get involved in Czechoslovakia, where they might have been able to do something.

Chamberlain was probably wrong for multiple reasons. Some being that nuclear weapons were on the way, and that Hitler violated all his agreements and had plans to conquer Britain. Plus Hitler was pure evil.

There’s videos all over the internet from Ukraine showing this happening. People that have no business being sent to war, dragged off the street into vans.
It’s overly simplistic to say “Russia is the aggressor”. This has been boiling for a decade or more. Zelenskyy is no hero. Ukraine was an epicenter of corruption. I don’t trust any of it and there’s zero evidence Putin wants to march all over Europe, even eastern Europe. Not everything “is just like Hitler”.
The Russians invaded killing Ukraine killing Ukrainians.
If the war is unjust it’s Russia that’s at fault.

Rusia is not taking land. The Russian Navy has been run out of Crimea. Ukraine is still in Kursk to some degree and also in Belgorod now. Russia can’t be winning if they are buying North Koreans. Russia is loosing over 1,000 soldier a day off the battlefield. Ukraine is attacking Oil refineries every day.
If Russia is so great, what after 3 years haven’t they taken all of Ukraine? Don’t give me this give them time they will do it. NATO would go all the way to the Pacific if Russia starts something with them.

Russia has all of Ukraine it wants. The war could be over today if Ukraine wanted. The only question now is how many more square miles will Ukraine surrender trying to manufacture the image of “winning”. If Zelensky allows Russia to take more land simply because he refuses to make a deal …. Thats on him.

Russia invaded the Ukraine, because we were making moves to include Ukraine into NATO. That was the one promise we made to not do that allowed Russia to allow Ukraine its independence. We caused the war because of our ambition and expansionist policies. In my view, Russia was correct.
We didn’t have to do that. If we were going to do that, we could have peacefully talked with Russia of how to ameliorate their concerns.
This is heartbreaking. And Zelensky wants it to continue indefinitely.
And there are people here on FR who are OK with that.
Zelenskyy needs to be eliminated, and I don’t care who does it.
