Biden's Autopen and What Should Be Done About It

Posted on 03/15/2025 12:05:43 AM PDT by 7thson

This past week, I have read online and watched on FNC the story of an Autopen used during the 4 years of Biden occupying the White House.

What I would like to see done, is to have the DoJ charge just one person that was granted immunity under the Autopen E.O. Bring up charges, start taking that person to trial. Then when the Dems start gnashing their teeth and rendering their clothes, President Trump and the DoJ can have a press brief explaining that by being signed by an autopen, all those E.O. are unConstitutional, and null and void. Let's see how this plays out.

I don’t think so. Can you cite the law on that?

Autopens and Certificates Of Live Birth have similar importance: Legitimacy of Office, and legitimacy of documents. In some cases, both at the same time.

Here's what I found at the DOJ Office of Legal Counsel:
Whether the President May Sign a Bill by Directing That His Signature Be Affixed to It

Date of Issuance: July 7, 2005

Headnotes The President need not personally perform the physical act of affixing his signature to a bill he approves and decides to sign in order for the bill to become law. Rather, the President may sign a bill within the meaning of Article I, Section 7 by directing a subordinate to affix the President’s signature to such a bill, for example by autopen.

And, they should be charged in a jurisdiction other than the SDNY or similar.

In 2008, I voted for Gov Sarah Palin, not McCain.

Keyes was a 100% wasted vote to defeat Obamatollah.

“even if the President authorized that person to do so.”

The obvious next question is where if the proof the autopen signature was authorized.

Is there a written document that authorized the person to sign everything that minute, that hour, that day, that week, forever?

If it was an oral authorization is there a recording of that to prove it was real?

It is beginning to look like we have smoke and mirrors going on here.

“directing a subordinate”

OK—but where is the proof that the subordinate had been directed to sign in a specific instance.

The details are critical here.

It’s a freaking signature. How freaking lazy or infirmed do you have to be to always use an autopen?

but where is the proof that the subordinate had been directed to sign in a specific instance.

Proof would only be required if this matter were legally challenged. In such a case, the burden of proof would initially rest on the plaintiff to demonstrate that the autopen was used without proper authorization.

That is where the courts fail us.

The reason we may not have the evidence is that the criminals were not kind enough to keep it for us!

The autopen story should be viewed with a few other facts in mind.

Trump put in place some national emergency EO’s, including 13818 and 13848. 13848 is ‘Foreign Interference in a Domestic Election’, signed in Sept 2018. Since it sunsets in 1 year, Trump renewed it twice, to the end of term 1. bidAn ALSO RENEWED 13848, 4 times, each September. It is currently STILL IN FORCE.

All told, bidAn renewed eight of these EO’s.

So, whatever is done with “autopen signed” orders, these 8 EO’s still stand, as the Swamp is forced to out and destroy itself.

If credible insiders from the Biden White House came forward to admit that he was non compos mentis and unable to approve decisions, a legal challenge could follow. The argument would be that autopen-signed documents lacked valid authorization.

However, proving this in court would be extremely difficult, especially retroactively.

Rather, find the person who authorized using it and put it where the sun don’t shine! 😁

I think this really indicates how truly infirmed he was and still is.

Y’all notice Trump is signing everything by hand, often in front of cameras? This is no accident.

I would think it’d depend on previous cases.

With Autopen Joe, everything Depends.

It would have been a much better America had Alan Keyes become president

I would have been more than happy had Alan Keyes defeated the Kenyan in the Illinois Senate race. He was the only one who would take on Obama in that contest after the Sun Times published a previously sealed divorce proceeding of then candidate Ryan who would have been much more competitive and possible victorious. Sending Obama back to the “Mens club” on N. Clark Street and his community organization “job” would have saved America a lot of grief !! Since that race, I have not heard anything of Alan Keyes until these posts.
