I wash my bourbon down with red. I think I read that the combo helps to prevent dementia, but I can’t recall where I read it.

I’ll do my 4 cups of coffee each day. I’m 81...where am I going??

For what it’s worth, I know of a 93-year-old lady who drinks green tea daily. She’s in remarkable health for her age.

Study brought to you by the green tea growers association.
Well, probably.

Sun drop used to be 120 mg on the 20z bottle
They dropped it to 100
Scoundrels
Milo’s tea is 60
I don’t like monsters
I loved Coca Cola coffee which was 100 mg
But they yanked it
Leaf tea is 100 too
I drink those too

Milo’s rocks! It’s not as good as I make myself, but the only “store boughten” one that comes close. After all I am a Southern lady (fanning self demurely) and I know my iced tea. Apparently you do as well, sir.
Green tea? I think my blood runs tea. If I drank that silly green tea, why gracious, it’s green! Only bugs have green blood. (shiver) No thank you. I am no insect, no sir.

“your risk of dementia decreases by 6% for every cup of green tea you consume”
How awesome is that!? I’m going to drink 16.7 cups of green tea tomorrow and never again worry about dementia.

Maybe capsules will work? I just can’t get into hot green tea.

Alcohol kills brain cells, but only the weak ones.
I’m getting smarter every day!
And then, someone will invent Hard Green Tea; it will be in the store right next to the Hard Cider.
After composing that last statement, I realize that I will stick with my Irish coffee (Bushmills Single Malt)
To: nickcarraway
Irish green tea just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

I bought a big box of Lipton brewed tea to start drinking again, straight up, no sugar or artificial sweetener. Two tea bags per the 1/2 gallon. Might add some lemon to it.

"Green tea is rich in antioxidants — particularly catechins like epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) — which have anti-inflammatory and cell-protective properties, potentially reducing the risk of cancer and stroke. Great! I eat EGCGs every day. I should be protected from dementia.

Is it green tea causing the stones or hard water?
People who live where there’s lots of limestone seem to get kidney stones more than people who live in the lowlands or on the coast.
IDK but it’s a possibility.

because the stuff tastes to me like grass clipping that have been steeped in hot water ... You could get in trouble giving away secret proprietary formulas like that.
