The person is an L.A. County resident who arrived at LAX Terminal B on Mar. 5, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. They [sic] flew in on China Airlines Flight 8, which is the airline’s Taipei-to-L.A. route, and were in the Tom Bradley International Terminal between 7 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. that night.
Passengers assigned to specific seats that may have been exposed on the flight will be notified by local departments of health...
Two days after arriving, the individual went to a nail salon in North Hollywood called Cloud 9 Nails, which is located at 5142 N. Lankershim Blvd. On Monday, the person went to the Superior Grocery Store located at 10683 Valley Blvd. in El Monte.

gotta have those open borders...
Yeah, those red-state southern redneck anti-vaxx conservatives are spreading measles all over the nation.
No worries right? The MMR vaccine should protect us all.
I don’t see what ‘open borders’ have to do with people who are apparently here legally travelling back and forth to China and Korea...
From Taiwan. Ok but did she get the measles from the unvaccinated Mennonite’s in Texas
Because we are told ti ignore the common sense version like good little communist serfs and pretend its not from foreigners
The article says the person is an LA County resident. So he or she went to the nail salon after arriving home.
All I know is Taipei is WAY nicer than L.A. if youtube videos are any indication. Am sure someone on here can back me up on this.
From Taiwan ...
Is this the secure path for the CCP agents to enter the USA ?
Back in the day when our Moms would just, ‘drop us off’ somewhere for the day so they could day drink (J/K!), my two girl cousins, my sister and I went to a County Fair.
I started feeling sick, and must’ve been old enough to know how to use a pay phone, so I called my Aunt and she came and got us all.
I ended up with the Chicken Pox, so who knows WHO I infected, thought most kids were vaccinated back then before ‘SCIENCE’ ruined so many lives. (My sister and cousins didn’t get sick).
Almost all native born American children are vaccinated against measles, mumps and rubella. Measles itself was once a rite of passage for American children. The vast majority recovered uneventfully. Major concern would be a rubella outbreak in unvaccinated migrants. Migrant women are often pregnant and if rubella becomes common in those communities there will be a lot of heartbreaking grief.
“ The MMR vaccine should protect us all.”
It generally does, yes.
I had measles as a kid which is better immunity. Chances of dying or having lasting effects from measles is low, but not non-existent. Chances of the same for vaccine is less than having the disease.
Article says that the person was a resident of LA County.
Lots of legal residents and citizens here have relations in Taiwan.
That Superior Market and the nail salon are not particularly close to each other.
That’s why I’m saying this measles nonsense is nothing new they come through the border and by plane and they bring measles it’s not new
Phony crisis. Measles is not a deadly disease.
There are now estimates of upwards 5,000 Communist Chinese spies now in the U.S.
So are we suspecting all Taiwanese or Chinese living here legally - even citizens - of being spies now?
My point is just that people travel; the article also mentions a case of measles brought back recently by an infant who came in from Korea.
I don’t see how we can shut down all legal international travel for fear of Chinese spies.
When you enter Taipei by airliner, in the hall leading to customs there are thermal cameras, and anyone with a fever is denied entry.
OK, so, we’re talking about old run of the mill measles here right? If so, WHY? Last I heard they weren’t fatal.
Also, who’s NOT getting their kids MMR vaccines?
