David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff reportedly died by suicide at the age of 62.
Law enforcement officials told TMZ that Bach-Hasselhoff’s relatives grew concerned when they couldn’t reach her and wanted to check on her well-being. Paramedics responded to her home shortly after 10 p.m. on Wednesday for reports of an unconscious female. Hasselhoff was declared dead on-scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to her head. Authorities said they did not find a suicide note.
Los Angeles Police Department officers arrived shortly after Bach-Hasselhoff was located, according to TMZ.
David Hasselhoff issued a brief statement to the outlet saying, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
David and Pamela were husband and wife from 1989 to 2006, but their relationship ended in a contentious divorce. They engaged in disputes over spousal support payments until 2017.
Bach-Hasselhoff made her big screen acting debut in Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 film “Rumble Fish” and starred alongside Matt Dillon, Mickey Rourke and Diane Lane. She went on to pursue television roles and appeared on “Baywatch” for ten years as café owner Kaye Morgan.
Her other notable television appearances include “Sirens,” “The Young and the Restless,” “The Fall Guy,” “T.J. Hooker” and “Knight Rider,” where she and David met.
Bach-Hasselhoff is survived by the two daughters she shares with David.
No further information has been provided about the circumstances leading up to her death.
Self-inflicted gun shot, according to TMZ.
A shame when the bad voices win.
R.I.P.
That is uncommon among women.
Quite a looker. Sad.
That’s definitely sad. I’m assuming since the economy is tanking, it was about money.
Shooting oneself is more a male method of suicide. It tends to be quite messy. Women usually go for pills from what I’ve read.
yes. typically women’s attempts are a cry.
Not sure AT ALL what you base that on.
And the economy is tanking according to whom?
BUT....getting back to what really matters...it’s a heartbreak when this happens.
Some people yearn for the past so much that they can’t take the present...I know people like that...and I don’t judge them...who doesn’t want to be young and beautiful and strong again?
Whatever the reason, I won’t judge her.
The Good Lord is much, much better at judging and I hope He takes her into his world...being completely and desperately lost and hopeless is a brutal thing.
Sheesh.
I’m a carbon-monoxide kind of guy myself.
Yup. Usually. Not always. Usually pills because of pain, and/or they want someone to find them and save them before croaking. Serious suiciders use guns. And even then some don’t know where to point.
Did they swab Hasselhoff for gun shot residue?
Yeah, yeah. I’m sure she was nice.
I hear that
The gnaw
I’m all in on self immolation. But I’m a flamboyant self absorbed narcissists with an inferiority complex trying to prove something.
What is your success rate?
Insurance is going through the roof, the stock market is tanking and the crypto market is undergoing a bloodbath. Heck, a dozen eggs is $8. People are getting laid off left and right and businesses are going out in droves. Maybe things are good wheee you live, and if that’s the case, salud my brother, but from every metric I can see, this is not good. That Trump Golden age better kick in pretty quick
Sarcasm is kind of icky in this situation, but whatever ...
My car needs a tune-up, but so far I am holding out.
I just plan on telling my Latina and Jewish wife to “calm down”.
Figure she’d off me pretty quick.
