Actress KJ Smith bizarrely suggested that the black community “start looking into” moving to Africa due to the political climate in the United States during a red carpet event at the Oscars on Sunday evening.
After being asked if there is something she wishes “is there something that you wish was talked about more within our community,” Smith replied, “Understanding our roots,” adding, “I think it’s really important.”

Note she -- with media attention and no doubt a publicist and agent -- could have announced her selection of am African nation that would "receive" her. But, no. This is just a public relations stunt, among the many "I'm leaving" stunts wherein hardly anyone leaves.

Seems virtue signaling is rarely followed up with anything. Time "to start looking." Translation: "Notice me."
I suspect that Trump is continuing to gain support of black males, because they don’t really give a rip about Ukraine, and support Trump’s peace efforts.

Africa is tribal in the fullest sense of the word. Being black does not make you a member of their tribe.
If you had money they will tolerate you but you will never be accepted. So any black American that thinks moving to Africa is a good idea should do their research and talk to those that may have tried.

They are born here, are US citizens, and just happen to be black.
I haven’t watched Oscars since 1976. Last time was when Bob Hope presented one to an actor and he did not show up. Hope said that the actor was probably playing cards with Marlon Brando and George C. Scott.
