"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

A study of pyrazines in cigarettes and how additives might be used to enhance tobacco addiction

Abstract
Background Nicotine is known as the drug that is responsible for the addicted behaviour of tobacco users, but it has poor reinforcing effects when administered alone. Tobacco product design features enhance abuse liability by (A) optimising the dynamic delivery of nicotine to central nervous system receptors, and affecting smokers’ withdrawal symptoms, mood and behaviour; and (B) effecting conditioned learning, through sensory cues, including aroma, touch and visual stimulation, to create perceptions of pending nicotine reward. This study examines the use of additives called ‘pyrazines’, which may enhance abuse potential, their introduction in ‘lights’ and subsequently in the highly market successful Marlboro Lights (Gold) cigarettes and eventually many major brands.
Methods We conducted internal tobacco industry research using online databases in conjunction with published scientific literature research, based on an iterative feedback process.
Results Tobacco manufacturers developed the use of a range of compounds, including pyrazines, in order to enhance ‘light’ cigarette products’ acceptance and sales. Pyrazines with chemosensory and pharmacological effects were incorporated in the first ‘full-flavour, low-tar’ product achieving high market success. Such additives may enhance dependence by helping to optimise nicotine delivery and dosing and through cueing and learned behaviour.
Conclusions Cigarette additives and ingredients with chemosensory effects that promote addiction by acting synergistically with nicotine, increasing product appeal, easing smoking initiation, discouraging cessation or promoting relapse should be regulated by the US Food and Drug Administration. Current models of tobacco abuse liability could be revised to include more explicit roles with regard to non-nicotine constituents that enhance abuse potential.

I do see a decrease of 10 cents per gallon or more, here in OK. So far, prices on “store brand” eggs have gone down some, but free-range & organic brown eggs are unchanged at the present time. Also noticed that prices on some other grocery items are being quietly lowered (no fanfare or advance announcement). All in all, the situation appears to be improving.
I don’t expect to see huge drops in most food prices, outside of things involving chickens (which Biden murdered under the guise of “bird flu”, thus creating a false shortage) or anything else the government directly meddled with.
Fuel price drops will affect all items, but the drops will be small. Regulation reductions will affect many things as well, and could have a bit more significant effect over time. Of course, this is offset by the continued deficit spending of the government which requires printing money out of whole cloth, thus diluting the value of what’s already out there.
Until the government balances the budget, we are the next Weimar Republic. The dems and globalists want that, but we, the people (at least those of us that are awake) do NOT.

I developed a smoking substitute that was actually good for you. It consisted of a plastic tube filled with salt soaked in various essential oils. Black pepper oil and oregano oil actually gave you that smokers burn in your throat while providing beneficial salt inhalation called “halotherapy”. Unfortunately manufacturing the sticks (I called them “Crave Sticks”) was time and cost prohibitive. I’d either have to automate with specially designed equipment or hire tiny Chinee hands to make them.

OBSERVATION - I’m placing this under CW2 because if these charges pan out - this is a serious and seditious situation that subverts the Constitution and our national security. Words escape me as I read the article and burrowed down to deeper reports.
Should all the dots continue to connect, it would explain the massive amount of judicial activism of not only the past few months - but going farther back to the tossing of election fraud lawsuits in 2021 due to ‘lack of standing’,etc. This is nothing short of demonstrating a coup by the judiciary and in particular progressives and potentially corrupted Roberts (Epstine Island trip connections). Watch the left desperately try to keep this out of the news cycle.

Could slot this under many topics, but it seems more appropriate here. Related to the above. These rogue justices with Chief Justice Roberts tacit approval, are pushing the US towards a major constitutional crisis. Impeachment is not the solution - but constitution and law permit removal of rogue justices. This would be the atomic bomb equivalent in this fight. The judicial cannot be allowed to usurp powers clearly assigned to the executive branch and in many cases specifically to the president. Should the “nuclear option” come into play I fully expect that left will come completely unglued and violent riots hit across the country.
